we are booked in regular cove balcony. Got the call to go to a Family harbor suite - cove balcony on Sept 13. They said no kids on board. We would get 2 bathrooms, bigger balcony and bigger room. Priority embarkation and priority getting off at all ports, etc. $750 total extra. With cruise being port intensive, not sure whether to take it or not. Thoughts? We have gotten $750 in price drops since we booked over a year ago so it would be the price we originally booked at but would now have suite.

there will 6 of us with luggage disembarking at Barcelona port then going to apartment 17 minute drive from terminal (el laval area). Is it possible to get VAN for all of us or will we need to take 2 taxis?

looking at this area to stay in instead of city centre for a few days before a cruise - anyone stay in this area - suggestions/recommendations. I realize it would be an hour or so on tram to city but that doesn't bother us.

plan on arriving 3-4 days before cruise. better to stay in city centre or Glyfada, or any other beach area and take transport to city????? Staying in city doesn't really sound appealing to me but I may be wrong - thoughts?? suggestions please.

Some say DON'T even bother staying in Athens and some say its a NOT TO BE MISSED hence can't decide what to do. Don't want to spend a lot on hotels though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
