Can anyone who has done this excursion, please tell me which beach is included in this tour and is it a sandy or a pebble beach?

Good to know. We booked 7901 and hopefully will have no issue with it. 7903 had even come available but stuck with our original room choice -- just a bit further out of the way in case we have a noisy group onboard. I love the larger size of these rooms -- makes an inside cabin just a bit more palatable.

Being close to the glass elevators allows you to peek out to see what the weather is like, too.

We're on the Baja deck (late suggested check in) and we've booked a package with a hotel to ship transfer. Will Princess arrange this transfer to comply with the suggested check in time or will we be able to hop on to any transfer? If not, I'm temped to cancel the transfer and make my own way there...

And have you visited Cowpet Bay? If so, how do you rate that in terms of sandy swimming areas and peace?

Blue Herons and Pam, I think you've hit it on the head! Minds made up, will deffo take the water taxi, try out the Cheese Cake Factory, walk Las Olas and drop by the Jazz Festival to people watch (we happen to be there on Sun 6 December. Perhaps top it all off with a quick dip in the ocean and frozen yogurt before making our way back to the ship...

This scares the hell out of me! We're booked on a B2B our of Fort Lauderdale starting 29 Nov (which I think falls just outside of Thanksgiving holiday). Will we be OK in terms of hoards of kids? Can anyone advise?

Regal veterans - a question for those of you who have travelled/researched this...

I have seen suggestions of sprinting instead of wandering over to the Sanctuary on embarkation day...

1. Can one book for a specific future day on embarkation day, eg if I board on Sunday (and sprint over to the Sanctuary), can I make a booking for the following Tuesday on that Sunday?

2. And also, once booked, can I cancel a future day without penalty?
