    Suite ??

The sparkling wine available to those in “lesser” suites is the same as provided to those who sail AquaClass and Concierge Class...
  2. Thanks for correcting my faulty recall as to the number of 240 volt outlets in M-Class staterooms! Sorry for misinformation in my earlier post...
  3. Outlet (1) is at the desk. I believe the plug is European; bring an adapter if needed.
  4. Though not Suite Class, the aft Concierge Class 1 staterooms on Millennium Class ships (Decks 7, 8 and 9) feature huge balconies... By my guess, a half to two-thirds of those verandas are sheltered from above with the area closest to the rail unsheltered... Those cabins on Decks 7 and 8 have other staterooms above and below; those on Deck 9 have the Sunset Bar and outdoor 0ceanview dining above...
  5. It’s been a few years but we thought that Jamie Lloyd—J3 Private Tours—was outstanding... You’ll readily find his website via search... If interested, book early... Very popular!
  6. I too have a very substantial collection of the credit card-sized leather cases; like your husband, they work really well for me... I sailed Edge to the Caribbean for a week in March and again for fifteen days on the April/May Transatlantic... As I've reported here in the past, the credit-card sized "leather" cases are [or perhaps, were] back--only difference is that they are now light gray rather than black--for the Transatlantic and were distributed, as has always been true, to guests traveling in Concierge Class, AquaClass and Suites... I don't yet know if they've been returned for distribution to guests occupying the same stateroom categories aboard other ships in the fleet...
  7. While it is true that basic sundries tend to be stocked for sale aboard ship--Alakegirl is correct; sometimes they're not displayed and you need ask--you might consider picking up items you've forgotten or that need replenishment while in port... Oftentimes you can make those landside purchases at a fraction of the cost aboard ship...
  8. From an inventory perspective, I highly recommend that you have your cabin steward remove/stow the contents of the mini-bar upon embarkation rather than doing so yourself... Less chance of disagreement and/or potential charges for any shortfalls--which may have occurred during the prior cruise--that may be detected in the item counts...
  9. Edge operates in the same way with the same hours as the other Celebrity ships do; 0ceanview is not a 24/7 operation in terms of food but coffee/tea is available between 1:00 AM when food service ends and 6:00 AM when light breakfast opens. If you must have something during the five shutdown hours, it is room service (with delivery fee from 11:00 PM and 6:00 AM if not occupying a suite) or a snack that you have brought back to your room during operating hours... You might consider bringing a supply of non-perishable snacks from home or that you pick up prior to embarkation; some do...
  10. I live locally... Unless there is more than one Celebrity ship docked at Fort Lauderdale/Port Everglades on the day you embark , it is likely that Equinox will be at Terminal 25... If there is more than one Celebrity ship at the port that day, Equinox may be at a different but nearby terminal [with 26 or 29 the most likely possibilities]... Terminal assignments are very clearly posted at the port security entrances but are also available online at the Port Everglades website--with accuracy; before that terminal assignments are best estimates/can and do change--a week before you sail... All of the major car rental agencies have a significant presence at Hollywood/Fort Lauderdale International Airport which is located just a very few miles/minutes from the port... That said, you will need to take a taxi between the airport car rental facility [one large parking deck serves all of the major companies] and your cruise terminal... Security at Port Everglades is very strict as it serves as the depot for distribution of petroleum/fuel products from Key West to the Orlando area... Be prepared to show your Xpress Pass or cruise reservation--perhaps along with your Passport--as your driver passes through one of the security kiosks to gain entry into the port area

Took me awhile too... Captain’s Club Happy Hour for those who have attained Elite, Elite Plus or Zenith membership level...
  12. Sorry, but no... With minor exception--Zenith level Captain's Club members have full access to The Retreat Lounge [Michael's Club] regardless of stateroom category but not to the suite sundeck or to Luminae unless occupying a suite--loyalty does not provide access to the "suites only" amenities at any time...
  13. I believe that Park Cafe is a venue on Royal Caribbean—not Celebrity—ships!
  14. Following is the recent related thread that Orator mentioned above...
  15. In my experience with the Celebrity app--two cruises/22 nights on Edge--the information as to menus, entertainment, and activities was not accurate until I boarded the ship and accessed Celebrity Wi-Fi...
  16. Though not directly related to the Original Poster's inquiries with respect to post-revolution Equinox, it may be worth noting here that the loyalty-based benefit {for Elite, Elite +, Zenith Captain's Club members] which provides one time access/cruise to the Persian Gardens while the ship is in port is not offered at the roughly comparable but enhanced SEA Thermal Suites aboard Edge... Aqua Class guests on all ships continue to have unlimited access to the Persian Gardens or--with respect to Edge--the Thermal Suites...
  17. Assuming that you will attain Diamond status with Royal’s Crown & Anchor Society before you cruise Celebrity, you will be recognized as an Elite member of Captain’s Club... Benefits are nicely outlined on Celebrity’s website... You should call Captain’s Club with your C&A membership number to secure your Captain’s Club membership number and associate it with your X reservation ( some report it happens automatically—no call required—but results are inconsistent at times)...
  18. The number cited above is common for all Celebrity ships... Please be certain that your family members know which ship you will be on and your stateroom number...
  19. The Celebrity Suites on Millennium-Class ships did not originally feature a balcony; they were added when those ships were “solsticized” starting in late 2011/early 2012...
  20. Specialty dining booked in advance requires prepayment either via credit card or onboard credit... Suggest that you make the reservations for the two of you and that your friends do the same for themselves--same time/same venue--via Cruise Planner and that you see the Murano Maitre 'D to combine the reservations upon boarding...
  21. If not aware, Cruise Critic rules—you would have agreed to them when you registered as a user—prohibit specific references to travel agencies and/or travel agents...
  22. You are correct; Solstice is the only ship to have the “X”...
  23. The RFID pouch to which you refer is--or perhaps now, was--provided to guests traveling in Concierge Class, AquaClass, and Suites... Don't know if it's true fleet-wide but, having completed two cruises on Edge--a week in the Caribbean and the Transatlantic-- between March and May, I can report that Celebrity is again providing the leatherette wallets [same design but now gray] to guests traveling in Concierge Class, AquaClass, and Suites.
  24. Following is the link to your Roll Call for this cruise... It appears that you have posted to the thread in the past...
  25. My recall is that one must present his/her Sea Pass to a member of the Spa Reception Team--who will hold the card during usage--in order to access the Persian Gardens... It is my understanding that Sea Pass cards issued to minors are coded to indicate such status--for a whole lot of reasons--and, if swiped, will also confirm status as a minor [don't know if birth date will pop up] along with his/her photo... Don't know how rigorously the age restriction is enforced and/or if allowance is made if accompanied by an adult who is eligible for entry… But I'm quite confident that physical appearance alone won't work...
