  1. I just got off the Liberty 4-day Bahamas 2 weeks ago and there was definitely an Elegant Night on day 2. There always has been on all of my 4-day cruises (been on 6!). I didn't see the Chef's Table offered at all, however, which struck me as odd because I've always seen it on previous cruises. Maybe they don't do it on those shorter Bahamas cruises?

Thanks, any other thoughts you care to share??

  2. There are two drew backs with the clamshell

    - they would get very hot as there is no where for the hot air to escape the clam

    - they are poorly located, much better bathing areas on other parts of the beach

if you leave the ship early you can get a beach chair under the many trees, located in better bathing areas

  3. I work in the education sector and while I love kids my vacation time is designed to have as much adult time with my wife as possible.

During the semester, I am the first to volunteer for playground duty, on vacation I aim for sans children.

I don't agree with this move, and will use my freedom of speech to let the company know.

It may make no difference to the company's plan, but I have belief in the power of ONE.

  4. Thanks for taking the time to share. Nice review!!! :)

    Excellent review.

We had 3 $1 shots and headed to the beach. By far the least appealing port yet but we still relaxed on the beach a bit. Before we headed back to the ship we got 5 more $1 shots.

I was wondering about the WE, in that you mentioned you were only traveling with your 10yr old son

  5. When is the LATEST you can leave a NCL ship

I would be on the SKY in August, and my South Beach Hotel's check-in is about 2. And I would be spending a week in South Beach after that so there is no need to rush, but my research has shown that rooms on the SKY are ready as early as 1pm, so I am guessing persons are ushered off very early.
