A note on the band, Island Magic: I take it from your brief mention that you didn't see their show. They should do a second performance later and you might want to attend. They are amazing. Their billing as a steel drum band may not sound like everyone's cup of tea, but you would be surprised what they can do. The last two times we saw them were the longest standing ovations I have ever seen on a ship.

Question for those just off the Rotterdam. Did they still have the book exchange area in the library?

Recently off the Rotterdam from a 42 day cruise. While entertaining, if you really want blues, be prepared to not hear any at the 'B B King Blues Club'. In five appearances, not one blues number. Lots of rock, pop, funk, jazz, motown, you name it - no blues. The small audience turnout didn't seem to mind though. I quit going after the fifth night. Too bad since I was really looking forward to it.

Received cabin assignment today for May 18 Statendam, Seattle to Alaska.

HH obstructed view gaur, received 'upgrade' to class G porthole, two decks lower. I would have prefered the HH in this case. Maybe they are punishning me for their previous upsell attempt I turned down last week - a ridiculous amount of money for a modest upgrade.
