  1. I Won a Carnival cruise and opted for Alaska. My son and I went on the Spirit so you know it was some time ago. We had a fabulous time, going north to Whittier. We spent time in Sitka where I got up close and personal to a teen age grizzly and was too stupid to be afraid, making it the highlight of my trip. That is, second to the Hubbard Glacier, which we parked so close to that the calving sounded like an explosion and was the most beautiful sight I've seen before or since.

Our naturalist pointed out all interesting sightings and held lectures. In addition to all this I befriended a family with little children and they were kept very busy decorating wooden horses which we bet on and playing fun games with other children.

We couldn't have asked for more out of our Alaska cruise.

  2. I always board early and am one of the first on the ship. The Lido is empty and there are no lines. It's a pleasant way to begin your cruise. Last time I cruised to Mexico I was a guest of my children and the lines at noon were very long. I am platinum so I was finished with lunch by the time the family even got on the ship.

  3. Please continue. I think there are a lot of us that read, but don't post. I have told so many people about his adventures and about you keeping us updated. Thanks for taking the time to do this.

  4. Stuart Dunn is my favorite next to John Heald. He is energetic, gets everyone involved and his wooden horse racing game was hysterical. He was also calm when we had an emergency on the Elation. I cruised with him three times and would love to go again. I cruised with Todd and thought he was o.k. I was surprised when he was chosen for the maiden voyage of the Dream. In October I was on the Splendor with John and found out what all the hype was about. He was the best in my mind. He was so funny I hurt from laughing and yet he was caring too.

  5. Thanks again for continuing to post his adventures. I am sharing them with friends as I read and they make for wonderful discusions and some wishful thinking too. Please continue. I am anxious to hear of your interaction with this amazing man. It makes me wish I was on the east coast so I could easily book a segment too. Thank you so much.

  6. I look for updates every day. I am reading his posts like an ongoing novel and hoped it would continue all year. I don't post after I read, but would really miss his story if you stopped. Should we post everytime we read? If that would make you continue to share I would be happy to do that. Thanks for taking the time to let us live our dream vicariously.
