I'm missing all my virtual buddies here on the Celebrity boards since I've been over on Royal as I have my Anthem cruise in 10 days. (Planning to do a live...I'll post the link once it's up if people are interested. It's the first time I'll have been on something so large.) But once that's over, I'll be back prepping for my Beyond ABC cruise on 7/27. And then again for an Eastern on 7/20/25 (my "Oh ship! It's my birthday!" shirt gets another go!)!!

    Hugs y'all!

Maybe we’ll see you on Beyond 7/27! We’re going on that one too!

  3. No points yet, so I contacted them through Facebook PM. Gave them my info and they said they would look into it. Response was that I would be added to a report and awarded the points on February 15. We shall see. I have had good results communicating with Celebrity this way. They are pretty responsive.

  4. Tried to cancel and rebook two of my excursions. They were put in my cart at the new lower price, but when I tried to use the onboard credit that was refunded, the prices reverted back to my original prices. So, I called the website customer service number, waited about 15 minutes on hold and was connected to a very pleasant gal who understood what I was trying to do. She was able to do the cancel and rebooks for me. I now have $240 OBC to use! 😄

  5. I don’t do caffeine but love the herbal mint tea from El Baccio. It is only served hot, I prefer it iced. Our awesome butler would have a fresh carafe of iced herbal mint tea in our suite at all times! I didn’t even ask him to do this. I just mentioned that I would get the hot tea and put it over ice in our suite. It’s the little things like this that I truly appreciate.

Not commenting on your post topic, but off topic wanted to comment we also have Tervs. 4 altogether, since we're clearing not right in the head. Were you at ABTC in the last few years? Just wondering if we have crossed paths.

Actually am down to 1 Terv, but got a Groenendal puppy last February! Have not attended ABTC recently, but have breeder friends that do frequently. The Belgians are great dogs!

  7. Booked a short cruise on 11/11/19 for October 2020. On 11/15/2019, saw the price had already dropped by $100 per person. Made the call to Princess customer service and Nicky did the refare immediately! Love Princess and their responsiveness!

You might bring along your favorite artificial sweetener, if you preferred drinks need sugar. You might experiment at home to see how many packets are needed to get the sweetness you prefer.  If you can consume some alcohol you might try a white wine sprizer... which is essentially white wine, club soda and ice... refreshing and the alcohol content reduced.

Thank you! Keep the good advice coming!

One of the most refreshing non-alc drinks I’ve had which, when compared to something like a virgin piña colada or others of that nature, was an orange soda (orange juice with soda water).

    Thank you, sounds great!

A lot of Mocktails and cocktails  are made from a packaged mix, and if there isn’t a sugar-free one available, they won’t be able to make one up for you. What do you drink at home?

Usually don’t. But, this is vacation, so will indulge in a few. Just looking to see if anyone has a favorite.

As c  points out about the mocktails...

I recommend that you bring along a recipe list of drinks which are friendly to your diet/preferences and if the ingredients are available, the bartender will surely make you what you desire...

    Cheers and bon voyage

    Great suggestion! Thanks!
