We answered our survey yesterday. It was for our November 13, 2021 cruise, the second of our B2B.

sandebeach, yes, you're correct. I screwed up the days.

We just received an email from RCCL that our 6 night (Nov. 8th, 2021 departure) Allure cruise was changed to a 7 night with different ports. We are B2B with the 8 night Eastern Caribbean so I'm guessing that will be changed to a 7 night. Anybody have any ideas why the itineraries are changing?

Check out Royal's website. They have listed all itinerary changes

Thank you for your responses. We were also considering renting a car but that could be a hassle. Uber may be our best option. Thanks again

Our ship arrives Cape Liberty on a Saturday morning. Two of us need to travel to Philadelphia the same morning. Any ideas of the quickest, easiest way to get to Philly? TIA

Looks like fun. You'll have to watch your timing on the Rising Tide bar since it switches decks and doesn't operate during parades, etc.

Read past cruisers reviews. Some excursions need to be booked early. For example, we had to book our sea plane excursion in Ketchikan months ahead

My husband and I were there at the end of February and it was still $25 for 2 chairs, umbrella, 4 beers, wi-fi (had to be closer to the hotel to use) and restrooms. Not sure where the 3rd person would sit since the chairs and umbrellas are tightly lined near water.

We enjoyed the Labadoozee drinks! We rented a beach bed in advance, they were completely booked when we sailed (they're located on the beach underneath the zip lines).

Yes, shops and bars are open around Holland House

FYI, there was a night in the Blaze lounge that the DJ played 80s's music

We just returned from a cruise on the Allure and our main dining table was on deck 4. The casino is on the same deck, near the dining room. We are not smokers and the cigarette smoke/smell in the front of the dining room where you enter was kind of annoying. Our table was far enough away where it didn't bother us during dinner but if we were closer to the doors, I would have asked to be moved.

Thanks for your review and the compasses!

Maybe a reference to Silent Disco where cruisers wear headphones, listening to 2 different DJs and dancing to their mixes?

Alaska. We've booked New England/Canada for this September for the fall colors!!

When we cruised last June on the Radiance in Alaska the space had a small bar with Alaskan Brewing Co. beers

We just cruised on Freedom a couple of weeks ago. Our favorite bar was R Bar because of the fantastic bartenders, Gulsom and Francisco. They can create SO MANY martinis, drink, etc. They will ask you what you like. For example, if you tell them no chocolate or coffee, orange, etc., they will create something for you. Sit at the bar, they are entertaining too. Pretty sure I gained my cruise weight there!!!

I had to talk my husband into an Alaskan cruise and we planned at least a year ahead. We both enjoyed it so much that we will definitely return again some day! As everyone is recommending, there's lots of information on the Alaska board and I learned so much from previous cruisers. We cruised last June on the southbound Radiance. We flew into Anchorage and stayed overnight. The next morning we took the Alaska Railroad glass domed train and enjoyed the vast wilderness and incredible views. Summer solstice was just beginning and we would watch the scenery go by while we were sitting in the Schooner or Champagne lounges until 11:30 at night! It was just beautiful and awesome. Our favorite excursion was flying in a float plane in Ketchikan. More untouched wilderness to view! It was a fantastic cruise and we wouldn't hesitate to do it again :)

We just returned from southbound Radiance and had a port side balcony. We like the privacy of a balcony. We used the balcony daily to read the cruise compass, relax with a drink, and when we were getting ready for the day or night. Starting in Seward, during the solstice, we had many hours of daylight. It's nice to be able to check out the weather so you know how many layers you may need. We saw a couple of orcas from our balcony too. As far as being too cold, you'd be wearing layers if you were on upper decks too. My husband and I wore layers on our balcony and then when we were nearing Vancouver we were in short sleeves.

Another vote for Burger Queen, I don't eat a lot of seafood either. You can place your order and go to the Asylum bar next door and Burger Queen will deliver it to you. There's not a lot of seating at Burger Queen. Many locals eat there too.

My husband and I both have Eddie Bauer Lukra Pro hiking shoes that we used to hike in the Lake Tahoe area. Also love Smart Wool socks! We'll be wearing those in Alaska in a couple of weeks :)

Following this thread, also we're curious as to the temperature in the dining room and the common spaces inside the ship itself. Is is generally cooler?

Could someone please tell me what the Next Cruise deposit amount would be for a 12 day cruise? We're on Wonder next month and are thinking about a 12 day cruise in September. Thanks!!
