I've been scouring the forum looking for cruisers who've taken AMA's River's and Castles tour, and haven't found many! I am considering this trip for early Sept 2016, either as Paris to Prague or Prague to Paris (it's the basic Rhine trip from Luxembourg to Nuremberg with land packages on both ends).

I have seen some other similar reviews indicating the people who were considering land packages ended up booking their own land portions and air directly. This is our first river cruise, and only our second time to Europe -- so I'm not too experienced in the "book your own" approach!

I selected this particular cruise because we want a Paris add-on, and this is already packaged that way.

Any and all advice and experiences about a Paris to Prague trip would be valued!

How was the cruise? I am planning to do the same trip about this time next year, and haven't been able to find reviews of the trip. It will be on the AMADante -- probably the first or third week in Sept. Paris to Prage or vice versa. I'd love to hear the details!

Sounds like a great trip! We are considering this trip next year, including the Paris and Prague land stays. Did you have AMA book your flights? How far in advance did you book? Thanks for any additional details -- I am also going to read the other linked posts!.
