  1. Oddly someone from the Freedom new party just posted that they were allowed to bring two blue cruisers with them... it is obviously going to be a matter of what ship and who is running it...

Hopefully there are other changes coming.. the old party was nice for some drinks but i too am bored with the whole clap for your ship thing.. Im sure that new cruisers enjoy that... i know i did then.. it was fun... but i am looking forward to the new format....

Hi cruzn buckeye! I am also a Buckeye :)

I always look forward to the 'clapping for the ships' and new cruisers would have a while to go before ever seeing that! Always interesting to see how many people have been on the really old and/or retired ships. My 1st was the Jubilee. Also have been on the retired Holiday and Celebration.

In April we had the old crowded party but on the Splendor in Sept. we will have the new format. Being able to order drinks will be the best part of it. I like Miami Vice's and they always had to be special requested.

Have to agree with retired-to-cruise, too. CCL doesn't OWE us anything so I appreciate whatever extra perks I get.

    Happy cruising everyone!

  2. I haven't received anything from Carnival yet - but I suppose since I'm not on the March 22 or 29th sailing of this change I may have to wait a few days.

Received an email from CCL this AM saying that the Valor and the Liberty are switching homeports. We are booked for the Liberty 4/25/15 out of Pt. Canaveral and are now booked on the Valor. The email said that since they are the same ship class that they would be swapping people room for room. So your Valor trip might not be cancelled, just changed to the Liberty (which already has 2.0 upgrades). Keep watch for an email!!!

  3. Thanks Debra, for posting the great pics. We will be sailing the Breeze in April for our Platinum trip. We were on the Magic last spring and loved all the open spaces the Dream class ships have to offer. Never felt crowded at all on the Magic. Love the new decor on the Breeze, very Caribbean inspired. If you ever get the opportunity, try one of John's blogger cruises. The Magic cruise was our 1st bloggers cruise and it was a lot of fun. His next one is the Breeze in Jan. Nothing scheduled for '14 yet. Enjoyed your review!!:)

  4. I also needed a Jubilee pin and found one on ebay. It is not an original one but I needed it to complete my set so I didn't mind. It is a little bigger than the original ones but other than that looks just the same. Don't remember the sellers name but in his 'ebay store' he had pins from all the ships. Hope this helps.........
