  1. We got the spa package for the first time last week on the Gem. There is a pretty good youtube video that shows it all. There is a separate co-ed space that has lockers, showers, dry sauna, steam sauna, loungers & one person hot tub. The co-ed space has thermal pool, hot tub, heated loungers (which are awesome) and regular loungers. We saw no "nakeds" anywhere in the spa. Highly recommend it. We purchased for $139 online prior to cruise. Price on-board was $186 and included a scrub in a cup that ours did not. They offered it to us for $27. Wasn't worth it in my opinion.

  2. We just got off the Gem yesterday and ate at the main dining rooms every night. We got there between 5-5:30 each night. Had to wait in line for about 5-10 minutes to get seated, which wasn't bad. I thought dinner service was pretty fast...better than the Epic & Getaway. Grand Pacific had better service than Magenta...same dress code for both. They have a new dinner menu they just rolled out last week. It was pretty good.

  3. We purchased the spa package recently on a cruise out of NY for the first time on the Gem. We purchased it online ahead of time for $139. Totally worth it for this cruise. We normally go on Caribbean cruises where we get sit out by the pool. Too cold on this cruise for that. We went to the spa daily (usually a couple times a day). It was never crowded. The price if you bought it on the cruise was $186 and included a scrub mixture that ours did not. They offered us the scrub for an additional $27 but wasn't worth it in my opinion. Would get this again for any "cold" weather cruises.
