Does anyone know if two people are listed on a booking and one doesn't make it before ship sails will the other person be allowed to board.

Can you still check in, if one of the people listed on booking doesn't show up before ship sails.

Gambee, If and when you go on a carnival cruise, pick one of the newer ships like, the Dream, Breeze or Magic unless you are just looking for a getaway. There is a lot of difference in their 4 day cruises as compared to their 7 day, much different clientel. Their Serenty Decks are for adults only, very enjoyable. I don't think you would have a bad cruise on any line. Carnivals wait staff and room Stewards are fantastic but overworked. I have never had a bad Carnival cruise just don't like some of the changes they've made, think I'm just a little burned out with them. Carnival in my opinion has the best soups on the high seas, great escargot, good lobster, good seafood, stay away from beef dishes unless you go to Steakhouse.

Gambee, I didn't mean to imply that I ever had a bad experience on RCCL all my cruises on board them were great, they have always had such beautiful ships and great service. I am a foodie and for a while there the food quality on RCCL deterioriated and I switched to Carnival because they had such great food and entertainment. Now it seems if the same thing is happening on Carnival since they changed CEOs a few years back, they seem to be gearing everthing toward the new cruiser and could care less about any kind of loyalty or what seasoned cruisers want, still a very good cruise for the money though. I like the traditions of cruising that were around in the 80's and 90's, not so much of a fan of freestyle cruising, it appears as if RCCL has a little of both. Will be looking forward to reading your review of NCL, I know it will be great.

Gambee, I have been on Cruise Critic for a long time, more years than my signature states, I have read 1000's of reviews and yours tops the list, there are simply not words to express how good it is and to think English is not your native language makes it all the more fantastic. Your pictures and writing styles are simply amazing, I spent several hours reading your review and I never do that, I could not tear myself away. Thanks so much for taking the enormous amount of time to do the review. I wondered over to this board for the first time in years, it was 1998 the last time I sailed with RCCL and I had no intention of sailing on such a huge ship, but thanks to your review I think I will try another RCCL cruise on the Allure. It appears that RCCL has made strides to return to the excellent food and entertainment they had in the past. I admire the relationship you have with your mother. Enjoy your next cruise, will be checking in to read your review.

Stacycakes 1, I must tell you this is absolutely one of, if not the best reviews I have read on this site. Your pictures are truly amazing, the tips you have given are priceless, you surely seem to have gone to great lenghts to plan your cruise out. Your review was so good one seems as if they are along for the ride themselves. I plan on doing this cruise in the future and your advice is priceless, as Paris is my all time favorite city, the tidbit about Air France is invaluable. Also will be trying to use limo service, again thanks for taking the time to post a review, it was a joy to experience it with you and your husband, hope you have many more memorable cruises in your future, will be anxiously waiting to read about them.
