Our son and daughter both went to Syracuse - so for ten years (undergrad and grad school) we were bombarded by Biily's TV ads every time we visited. Imagine our surprise when we bought a home in Southwest Florida a few years ago and met up with Billy's ads again!

Don't know whether Anselmo Boles or Matt Yee are currently on any ship, but both were excellent. Also, Charlie Jourdan was fantastic in the pub.

"Ruin Sorbees" was pretty entertaining.

The IOS buffet in Labadee last week looked EXACTLY like the photos that have been posted of today's buffet. Just like the Labadoozie cups, the Labadee buffet has looked EXACTLY the same for years no matter which RCCL ship has stopped there.

I was on IOS last week and my two Labadoozies (and my husband's two as well) looked just like the photo posted - those are the same cups they've been using for years - in fact, we have so many of them we didn't even bring them home this time.

Thanks for the info; we're embarking on the next cruise - not sure whether we want to be the guinea pigs or not!

I'm sorry you did not enjoy the food in the main dining room. Would you happen to know whether the menus were the new ones that have been promised for a while or were the old offerings still in place?

You're right, those screens are fantastic - we encountered them for the first time on Oasis in March - they're really helpful on the huge ships.

Your Serenade review was fabulous - loved our Southern Caribbean cruise on Serenade several years ago - you've really piqued my interest in a Mediterranean trip now!

I have to add a little bit to the small world theme - I was enjoying your Los Olas day when I suddenly saw a face I recognized - the owner of the EVOO Market! Not only is he a former NJ resident, he more recently resided in a very small town in central Vermont - our daughters were together at the local high school ten or so years ago! I knew that he'd relocated to Fort Lauderdale and opened this EVOO shop, but I never expected to see a photo of him on Cruise Critic! Small world, indeed!

Our first cruise with Mega 4 as the pool band was on the Majesty in 1997, and you bought their music on cassette tapes!

I'm not a beer drinker but want the cooler. It's been reported that the coolers were being sold on the Royal Promenade during the final day on recent Allure sailings. Is this also true on Oasis?

Love this balcony! We've had it on Navigator and Mariner and will have it for 9 days on Explorer on April 17!

We were also on the Navigator in April 2004 and enjoyed many evenings listening to Charlie Jourdan in Two Poets - he did an awesome "Sweet Caroline" as well as "Margaritaville" and "A Pirate Looks at Forty" - We did buy his CD, but we'd love to hear him again in person!
