It's been a long time since last post about water bottles. I'm sailing on constellation tomorrow and already packed a case of water - is it going to be taken away from me?
-
I can see all the threads I just can't open and read them. No matter I'm sure we will find out what we can and have a great time.

I have been unable to view any posts within the Celebrity Constellation forum so I am going to post here.
We are sailing soon January 29 and will be onboard while the Superbowl is shown. Where is the best place onboard to watch the Superbowl, in otherwords where is the biggest tv that my DH can sit and enjoy.
Also if anyone knows why I cant see the threads in the Celebrity Constellation forum please let me know, when I click on a thread it gives me: sorry there are no posts here. I've checked my DH laptop and get the same message and out of curiosity I checked on other ships forums as well, same message.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the info CathyCruises. I drink so much water, always thirsty. I'm a bit of a germaphobe so whenever away from home I drink bottled or filtered water. I had a bad experience on my last land vacation to Cabo, my DH made coffee in our room with tap water, I did not know until I started getting sick and it was bad. I would definitely go broke if I bought bottled water onboard but if I can bring a couple liters of water onboard I will feel better.

Someone mentioned that you can bring on bottled water, can you still? If so do you have to check it in or carry it on. I drink a lot of water and don't want to pay $5 a bottle.

Thank you so much for all the advice and the packing list. My DH thought I was crazy but once we were onboard and unpacked and everything had a place and a reason he understood. Our 7 day cruise was nothing short of spectacular and our stateroom was always tidy.
I hope to go on another cruise within the next couple of years (money is real tight right now) and I will be sure to use your list again.
Thanks again:)

Cruise Dancer, thank you so much for the offer but I think the dress will be too short for me. Since this will be my first cruise I really want to dress up for formal night but money is tight, still hoping someone may see this who is around my height and size.
Thanks again for the offer, I love this forum. There is so much great info and wonderful people here.

I am going on my first cruise at the end of August for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. My problem is I have no formal wear. I would love it if someone could donate a dress or two for me, after the cruise I would be more than happy to post it back on this forum. I am 5'10" and size 14.
Thanks in advance!

How did your brother-in-law get beer onboard? Also, do you have to check the rolling cooler in or do you keep it with you when boarding the ship. Either way, do you stock it with water/soda's/juice... and ice before boarding?

Thanks, I am so excited. I wish the cruise were sooner as I really need some time off from work but then again I am glad I have time to research and plan. I am so glad that I found this forum, it has really given me a lot of insight into cruising and a bunch of wonderful ideas that I had not even thought of.
I just ordered the rum runners, I sure hope the cruise lines do not become wise to this. I will be nervous doing this but I cant afford the booze on the cruise so I will be trying.

I am booked on the Freedom of the Seas in August 2009. I have never been on a cruise but I have been reading quite a bit and found this forum. I love the list you prepared but have a question. Are you really allowed to bring a case of water and sodas onboard? I know liquor is a no-no but would love to find a way. I am a penny pincher so whever I can save some $ would great. A couple friends of ours had a $1000 bar tab at the end of their 7 day cruise, I cant even imagine that and it has me scared to death. I don't drink a whole lot but if drinks are that expensive onboard I will have to go without.
Confused on bottled water situation: can we bring a case onboard?

very good. thanks, I drink so much water just cant afford their prices. Price of the cruise was expensive enough.
