I will be on the Carnival Vista on 9/3. My husband can no longer travel so I have had to find other options. nyone thinking of the hop on hop off bus in Europe? I just want to share my experience, the buses are jammed packed full, you can hop on, but good luck getting back on after you hop off. Rome's hoho bus was a disaster. It was so bad we decided to catch a cab, unfortunately the cabs were on strike. We jumped in a private vehicle, then immediately pulled over by the police. Went back to the bus, waited and waited to get on a bus, missed our tours. My advice, especially in Rome, do a tour or travel by train (as long as the trains aren't on strike, strikes are very common in Europe) we still use the hoho buses but only to get a glimpse of the city.
