Just off the Grand. BOGO was alive each day from 3-4 at the Wheelhouse and again 10-11 at One5. There were signs on the bars advertising as such.

We did the Outback Terracross Adventure when we visited Amber Cove. It was a fantastic excursion. Ours was through Carnival but I imagine it is a very similar if not the same tour. We rode the ATVs with about a 20 minute stop at the beach to cool off. When we got back to the tour home base we were served a lunch that included Dominican beer. There was a small shopping area as well. We were back to the port area with time to use the pool, shop and have a few drinks. I personally would not stay the entire day in the port area.

Take a North/South bound going into Glacier Bay and add a land tour. I agree sailing out SF going under the Golden Gate never gets old but that would not allow you to go into the interior of Alaska.

I am a short person and seating in the upper level was obstructed by the person in front of me. I liked the curved bench seating with table on the lower level.

Trying to decide on an Eastern or Southern Caribbean Cruise on either the Conquest or Breeze. Opinions on which you would choose and why?

I went to Stone Island this past week. Easy walk to the ferry and then to Victor's. They called Maria ' s Happy Horses and we all went horseback riding. Later a couple in our group rode ATVs. A great day. The bathrooms at Victor ' s were clean. Victor made us feel like family.

Wow!! Some people expect an awful lot for a change that was necessary to save a life. A life is much more important than a day in port, any compensation given or additional cost burden.
I too am on the 11/15 now 11/16 cruise. While the email does state we will not be calling on PV Tuesday it does not state we will be missing the port all together. At this time we do not know the revised itinerary. I am sure someone is working very hard to amend the schedule with all the ports

Staterooms will be ready when you board. Enjoy your cruise on the Grand. The staff was great especially those working the Piazza bar and coffee bar. Tatianna and Anna two wonderful ladies. I just disembarked on the 15th.

Saw them on the Golden in November. We almost did not go. So glad we decided to as they were best entertainment of the cruise. :) A true LOL time!!

Sometimes a lady needs "things" that are just too expensive with not much choice on the ship.

On the 11/24 Golden Princess roll call the Patters from a September 3 day cruise are posted. It should give a good idea of what to expect. Looks like they pack a lot into the 3 day.

A group of 10 family members used Tour by Van for our tour of Acapulco on 11/14/09. All of us had a wonderful time with Rudy. He took us to a shopping area for locals, Chapel of Peace, Diego Riveria's mural, the Zocalo and Cathedral, Hotel Casa Blanco and of course the cliff divers. Shopped briefly at HRC and Senor Frogs. There was a slight problem with the A/C in the van. Rudy apologized profusely. He gave us a choice to go back to the pier and he would not charge us for the half day or that he could get another van in about 30 minutes. Senor Frogs was close by and we opted to have drinks and appetizers while Rudy dealt with getting another van. We hadn't even gotten our food by the time Rudy said he had another van. After finishing at Senor Frogs, we continued the wonderful tour. Rudy was very knowledge and accomodating. A great time was had by all.
I am planning to book another tour with Rudy while in Acapulco during the Panama Canal cruise.
Cruise Director Dave Clark

Anyone know what ship Dave Clark is currently on? I thought he did a terrific job when I was on the Grand in April. So much better than the cruise director on the Grand during the September cruise.
