  1. We are new to Celebrity, We have a few questions. First what time do they start boarding on the first day of cruise. Where do you eat the first morning/afternoon. Is there a kettle in stateroom to make yourself tea / coffee. Can you suggest a really nice place that was your favorite place to sit, have coffee or drink . Is there anything esle we should know e.g. Dress code, formal nights. Thank you in advance.:

  2. Were we just unlucky but we are just off Navigator on Sunday and I have a few issues. Every time we went to eat in the Spaphire MTD restaurant we had to queue, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Sometimes 10 minutes sometimes longer, is this normal? The weather in Norway was awful, heavy rain cold and sometimes foggy. I am not blaming RCI for the weather, we have to get off the ship on deck 1. Not all the lifts went to deck1 so getting to the deck was not always easy, I can't go down stairs as I am in a wheelchair. I think because the weather was so bad people were not staying off the ship long at one time we queued for 40 minutes in the rain to get back on the ship. People were getting very short tempered with people with children and pushchairs thought they should have priority. I don't know if this is normal for Navigator or we were just unlucky. By the end of our cruise I was so cross about all the queuing I was thinking, why am I spending all this money to que, perhaps this will be my last cruise. What do you think went wrong.

  3. We are on Navigator at the end of August, we have never sailed on this ship so I thought I would ask a few questions. First on first day when joining the ship where can we eat :)lunch. I am not a fan of the windjammer is there anywhere esle we can eat? Is there a nice bar not to crowded in the evening for a per dinner drink. Any places that might be missed if you don't know about them?:)

  4. We are leaving tonight for our flight to Newark Airport and we will see if we make Boston for our cruise tomorrow 5.00pm. Before anyone jumps up and down and says we have not left enough time, I agree. There are 4 of us travelling and all have commitments to fill so I want you all to cross yours fingers and hope for the best. We have looked at the advice and hope to be in Boston tomorrow after noon. Dont forget USA is 5 Hours behind UK.

Thanks for all your help and advice.

  5. Hi, we are leaving Boston on Brilliants on Sunday going up the Coast towards Canada. Has anyone any idea of the weather there is time of the year. We are from England so have no idea what to back. Just brought a new fleece jacket and raincoat, will DH need shorts and sandals.

  6. Since I asked a few weeks ago how long it would take to drive from Newark Airport NY, to Boston Cruise Port I have hardly slept. I think that most of the replies pointed everything that could go wrong how bad the traffic was and that we should not have done this. Please can someone point out something positive about what we intend to do that would set my mind to rest a little bit. Also does anyone know the GPS corodenates ( cant spell the word)for the cruise terminal at Boston.

  7. Thank you for your help and suggestions, although I am not very reasurrued.

My son has driven in NY and America many times. So I don't think the traffiic will bother him. He drives in London all the time and that is bad if you are a timid driver.

we will be leaving from Newark Airport as we are over nighting there.

We have hired the car through Alamo.

  8. My daughter and granddaughter are cruising for the first time at the end of August. They have one or two questions that I can't answer help please.

    socket adaptor will they need.

    2. Granddaughter is 14 is there plenty of things for her to do will there be

    other teenagers on the ship?

    3. Are you allowed to take your own alcohol on the ship. I din't want to

start a debate on the rights and wrongs of taking your own alcohol on

board just a yes or no if you can or can't. Is the luggage scanned

    when taken aboard?

    Thank you for your help.

Also are there any secret places on the ship we should visit. We have booked a 2 bedroom aft suite, which I believe we have a concierge to look after us. what does he do, or what can I ask him to do.
