What decks are best for ocean view balcony on the Allure.
-
Thanks everyone. I know I can always get information from Bob and everyone else in the know. Now, I'll write a note so I don't forget. I think it's called another senior moment. LOL
-
Is there a "peek a boo" window on the Adventure to watch the goings on in the bridge. I remember it from years ago, but not exactly what it is called or how you get there. I know DH would love it.

Bob, thanks for the info. Guess I'll have to pay for my one or two, or maybe none. Since i cn't have alcohol, I may just have to stick to frozen mudslides and mojitos, sans alcohol. Cin, i did have one of the Heineken's, and your dad is right; they aren't bad

I know that the refreshment package covers non alcoholic cocktails, but, does anyone know if it includes non alcoholic beer and what kind? Thanx

Grabbed my Refreshment Pkg last Nov around Thanksgiving for my Dec cruise on the Adventure. Only paid $17 for it. Have never seen it that low before or since. Maybe Thanksgiving is the secret.

Robyn, love seeing you here. We are on the Adventure for Christmas, or Xmas spirit a couple of weeks before. I have PRs booked on deck 6, but am curious about 6597 as opposed to 6591, which is still open. Any ideas about which to keep or change to. Haven't been on the AOS since she was new (and my first cruise). Thanx for all your info.

Love your review of the Adventure. Can't wait for the next chapter

Thanx for the info. Hubby will be a happy camper

Does anyone know if root beer is one of the sodas in the soda machine?
-
sheilb4 said it, the coconut mojito in Boleros. Yum!

Following you in 2 weeks. Looking forward to your review by a "foodie"

How long did it take Blexie to you. Sent a message via Messenger and after over a week, I thought maybe email was best. Sent email and am waiting. If you sent an email, what email did you use. Thanx

I use it all the time with Jet Blue, but never with a flight that late

Sounds like the place to go if we don't want the windjammer.
Thanks, Bob, I knew you'd have the answer, and thanks welshrich, too. Roast beef Sammy sounds yummy. Oh, yeah, just had that for lunch. Here we come Deli Compass

What kind of food is there in the Deli Compass? Never been on the Majesty, but always love the Café Promenade, and a Deli sounds awesome

What a great review. The pictures are wonderful. Just booked the March 3, 2019 cruise on the Empress, and I can't wait

Yesterday everything looked fine and dandy; upcoming cruise, history, Diamond + status etc. All there, all good. Just went to check about entertainment on the Allure, and I am now pre gold, no history, but I still have a rez. Looks like they fiddled around again.
-
Glad to see it's you. I'm hanging in there, too. This old age really sucks, but it sure beats the alternative. I'm still cruising, but not as much. The big shocker was that Ed actually came with me in March. Really do miss you, girl. Email is still the same, so if you have time drop a line. You and your wit are really missed.
-
Doris, is that you? Been too long without you. You are missed

We have a cruise in a week and a half. All I get is a blue screen, sign in and not available. Oye, at least I have luggage tags.
-
Thanks for the menus, and thanks Mark Anthony. Noticed everything is on the one menu, but still have the same every night menu listed with everything else. I agree that Chops has gone way downhill, even on the other ships. On the Freedom, it was plain awful and the whole meal went back as we walked out. Really too bad.
Glad you had a good cruise. I'll watch for your next one

Safe travels home. One question. Met a woman today who either got off the Allure today or last week. She said that the extra nightly menu if you weren't happy with the regular one was no longer available. Hope she is mistaken. The sliders on the nightly menu are a treat if you aren't really hungry. Is she right, or was she possibly in CK and didn't know it.

Thanks for the info on Luggage Valet. It makes it so easy with no luggage to carry. Can't wait for two weeks to go by. Loved sailing with you

Thanks for the information on Wilfredo Salaya, AlohaLivin. Sailed with him many times on the Freedom, and haven't seen him in a long time. Hope he will be there at the end of January
