Are your bags checked when leaving the ship? If not, how would they know if you took a food product, packaged or not, off?

Has anyone used the AT&T Cruise plan for on board cell use?

Is it just $100 for onboard use or are there additional roaming fees. I really don't want to come home to a crazy cell phone bill; but, I will need cell use to keep up with work commitments.

The other option is wi-fi calling from my internet package. Does that work without charging roaming fees?

I would LOVE to turn my phone off and shove it in the safe; but, unfortunately that is not feasible with my job.

Any input, explanation of programs use, or personal experience with these options would be greatly appreciated.

We want to go to Atlantis during our Carnival Freedom stop on Aug 1, 2018. BUT, are having a difficult time deciding to book through the ship or privately. The excursion is listed as 7:30 -12:30 through Carnival. Our ship doesn't leave Nassau until 5:00 that day. That just really doesn't seem like much time at Atlantis for the almost $200 a person.

Who has booked through Carnival or privately? What are your thoughts or suggestions? How long were you allowed to stay at the resort?

I think Freedom staterooms have stocked fridges. Will the steward remove the stocked food/drinks so that we can use it to keep our things cool?

We are on Freedom July 4~11 and are starting with over $700 onboard credit from our Carnival card. We usually do not spend very much on the ship. If we don't use all of the onboard credit, will we just lose it? Is there a way it could be cashed out in the casino? Thanks.

Great info on Dr's Cave. We were thinking about taking a cab there and then going to Margaritaville after.

Can anyone tell me about how far Margaritaville is from Dr's Cave Beach?
