  1. I was researching this topic last night and the issue that Canadian and US citizens will face is not a QR code or lack there of on their proof of vaccination. The main problem is that Norway only recognizes Covid certificates that are recognized by the EU. Canada and the US are still in negotiations with the EU to have their respective Covid certificates recognized. I am hopeful that this matter will be resolved in the coming months and we will be able to travel to Norway. Fingers crossed!

  2. Word is sometime this year the European will make all Americans and Canadians get visas for any European country. If they do this in the middle of the Vista cruises we are screwed.

The EU has the option to do this and is only "considering" it. That's a far cry from actually requiring Canadians and Americans to have a visa for traveling to Europe. Rest easy and travel happy.

  3. Well I am not lying I can assure you. We were on the Celebrity Equinox and we took a ship excursion so we could get off the ship early. We visited Oia and a winery. Celebrity used local boats for tendering, it was very rough in the bay and they were still tendering people off the ship when we were in line at the end of our tour to take the cable car back down the hill. The lines were so long for the cable car that we had to wait about 2 hours to get back down the hill to catch a tender. There was one other ship in port that left while we were standing in line. There are 3 ways to get down the hill. Donkey, walk or cable car.If you still don't understand do some research on Santorini and then maybe you will understand.Your post is insulting.

I was in Santorini last year on the Equinox as well and I found that it wasn't the tendering to port that took a long time but the Fira cable cars. Once we managed to get down to the port, there weren't any line ups at all. I think your original post you said it took 2 hours to tender when in reality you stood in line for two hours for the cable car. I don't think anyone meant any insult.
