I agree that the African hair braiders do an awesome job. Let your granddaughter pick out a style and then get it done before you leave. If you like the braids, they will last for weeks before you have to take them out.

There was a young Asian lady that performed with Ray brow. Is she still part of the jazz group? she was excellent. There was also a young string bass player that was excellent.

While we hate to think so, there are still mean spirited people out there.

Hi guys - just stopping by to say hello. It appears that we have a wonderfully diverse group on this sailing, so I know we're in for a good time. I'm looking forward to this trip because last year, as soon as I got on the ship, I had to get off and from there I spent 8 days in an Italian hospital. Thanks to my buddy, Babeatsea, he kept my company via email, thus making my hospital stay a little more bareable. I'm looking forward to meeting you guys and this time I hope my time on board will be more than 1 hour. LOL.

JAKE - thanks for your awesome review of EPIC. I have never cruised on Norwegian Cruise Lines before but your review now makes me want to give them a try. Since my husband does not like to cruise as much as I do, EPIC seems to be a great alternative for a solo traveller. I think I'll give them a try and when I do I'll tell them Jake sent me!:)

When we were on the Oasis there was an old guy on a scooter who would drive up the the elevator and back up to the doors. Then they opened, he would call out "Backin' Up! Watch Out!" and then he was comin' back and it was up to the rest of the world to get out of his way.

Lol, I had a good laugh at that one!

Texas has a higher poplation than Florida! Why does Florida get 5 ships, while Texas gets none?!?! More importantly, Why does Europe get 8 ships, while Texas gets none???

Europe is a Continent, Galveston is a city. That may explain why there are 8 ships in Europe vs 1 ship in Galveston. But I, too would love to see more ships in Galveston. They would probably have to offer some of the longer sailings though since Galveston is so fat away from the Eastern Caribbean.
