I wonder if you can order "take out" from, say Manfredi's? 😉("I'll come get it")

Doing the Italy etc cruise on the Venus in 2025...looking at temps for when we will be there (July) and they are in the 90'sF
Does each stateroom have its own thermostat and are you able to keep the rooms to a temperature of your choosing?

When Viking does your laundry for you, how quickly do they return it?

Word of advice: wake up early! The views of the Cliffs of Dover started before 6 AM on our Greenwich to Bergen cruise. We were still jet lagged so just happened to wake up early that morning. There were no announcements from the Cruise Director or Bridge.
That's an interesting point...I wonder if you could arrange to be alerted if/when points(views) of interest occur...whether it be views like the cliffs above, or even "there's whales off the starboard bow" even if they text you or call your room?

No. You cannot connect your device to the TV via Bluetooth or patch cords. I bring a Bluetooth speaker that doubles as a battery backup for my phone.
Thank you!

Or will I need to bring a portable Bluetooth speaker to play my music in my cabin?
(music from my iPhone/iPad)

Also bring 3 to 4 big plastic clamps (like ones from Lowes or Home Depot) to clamp on wet clothes to the balcony chairs...clothes pins just aren't big or strong enough.

If you plan on taking pictures from your rooms balcony...set your camera out on the balcony on one of the chairs about 5 minutes prior so it will have a chance to defogg.
(I tried to take a pic..ran out on the balcony from the A/C cooled stateroom just to have the camera lens fogg up...missed the picture)
If you didn't choose Viking, what would it be?

Some of the reasons we like Viking is the all inclusiveness of the excursions, smaller ship size, no children, no casinos, pool party dance etc stuff, ...it's, as they say, a "thinking cruise not a drinking cruise".
Are there any other cruise lines that follow this philosophy that you have/would consider?
