  1. We have been to HCMC 2 times before on tours guided by Zoom, and we have booked him again for HCMC and Nha Trang during a cruise in December 2018. Zoom is very accommodating and extremely knowledgeable. The vans have been comfortable, for our groups of 8 on 1 tour and 14 on another. Zoom takes pictures throughout the tour, which he posts on FB as we move from site to site. We highly recommend Zoom, he will customize tours at very reasonable prices.

  2. Dung Zoom provides tours of Ho Chi Minh City, Cuchi Tunnels, Cuchi – Tay Ninh, My Tho, and other areas. We had a full day tour of Ho Chi Minh City with Zoom on March 29, 2015. The cost was very reasonable, $132 per couple for 4 couples. Zoom was waiting for us when we got off the cruise ship, and the ride into the city was very comfortable in an A/C mini-van. Zoom provided interesting information, and paced our stops so that we were able to see all the places on our itinerary. He is very active on social media, posting pictures of our group on FB throughout the day. Everyone in our group was impressed with Zoom, and if we are ever back in Vietnam, we will definitely hire him again. You can find him on FB under Dung Zoom. There is also information at http://saigonprivatetour.com.

  4. We just returned from a cruise which included the port of Kusadasi for Ephesus. This was our 3rd visit to this magnificent ancient site, and each time there was more to see as the excavations are ongoing. When you tour the site, pay extra for a visit to the Terrace Houses.

We have used the same guide, Mehmet Ficili (mficili@yahoo.com), for a private tour for all of our visits. He is very knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and will customize the tour for you in a van which holds 8 people comfortably. On this last visit we had enough time for lunch and Mehmet took us to his home town of Selçuk to a local restaurant where he eats frequently. We had a fantastic meal of regional local food.

I agree with other comments that the village of Sirince is very touristy. For a first visit to the area, the House of the Virgin Mary and the Church of St. John are worth seeing. But most of your time will be spent in Ephesus.
