Great review!  Thank you for doing it.  We are on the 9 night cruise at the end of this month and looking forward to our time on this beautiful ship.

Does anyone know what is being done on the Star Princess during her refurbishment in December? We will be on her right after and wanted to have an idea of the work being done.

Does Princess extend Captain's Circle membership to a spouse? I am a Platinum member and my future husband is a new Princess cruiser. Will he also be considered platinum on our next cruise? I know that Royal Caribbean and Celebrity do this for their guests and I am wondering if Princess does this as well.

Hello fellow cruisers, we purchased a Deluxe Drink Package for a future Anthem cruise. Where on the ship can we get "fancy" coffee drinks that are included with the package?

Thanks for the information and your help. I did check deck plans on the Princess website and rollaway beds are available. The site states Staterooms that can accommodate rollaways have two lower berths, one upper berth and can accommodate a fourth berth as a rollaway bed upon request at time of reservation. There are a limited number of rollaway beds per ship, per voyage.

Does Princess have rollaway beds available for a third person in the cabin on their ships?

I have been reading that the Imagination has been having some issues with the main pool lately. I have heard that the water is a strange color, that the pool leaked into the casino and that the pool has been closed often on recent cruises. I am cruising on the Imagination next month and would like to know if anyone can share additional information on the status of the pool. Have the issues been resolved or is the pool still out of service?

Here is my take on the most recent Crown Princess cruise.

Hits:

1. The weather during our cruise was great! Could not ask for anything better. A mini-summer in the middle of winter.

2. The food overall was very good. We had dinner one night in the steak house and the meal was outstanding!

3. The Jazz band on the ship was the best! We loved listening to them each night.

4. The staff in the Wheelhouse bar were great! Kind crew and strong drinks made for a good time at the bar.

5. Our fellow passengers were for the most part kind and polite.

Misses

1. Long lines at the delayed check in. We got to the port around 5:00 p.m. and it took more than an hour to check in. Also, at check in we were told that the rooms were still not ready on the ship.

2. Many crew seemed over worked and stressed out. We only saw our room guy one time during the cruise. The room still had trash left on the floor from the previous guest.

3. Guest services did not provide much service at all. Our toilet would not flush and I called guest services to report the problem but no one ever answered the phone. I called three different times and my call was never answered. To get the issue resolved I stopped by the desk and waited for half an hour.

4. There were lines everywhere on the ship. A long line for the Pub Lunch, a long line for afternoon tea, a line for anytime dinning, a line for pizza, a long line to both check in and disembark from the ship. On other Princess ships I cannot remember waiting in line. On this cruise there were lines everywhere.

5. Even though the food was great out the steakhouse the host at the door was rude to us when we showed up three minutes early for our reservation. She told us to come back at 8:00 p.m. to be seated for dinner.

Overall we were somewhat disappointed in this cruise. I like Princess but I would not cruise on the crown again. I did not feel like a valued Princess guest on this cruise.

We are on a three-day cruise on the Golden next month and I have some questions about the all inclusive beverage package on Princess. Is the package available on three day cruises? If so, can you purchase it on board or do you have to buy it before the cruise?

Thanks for all the information! I just booked an outside cabin on deck three for a cruise in April.

In July I was on the Vision of the Seas and the cabins had been updated with new carpet, furniture and a very modern bathroom. The room looked great and it was very comfortable. Does anyone know if Enchantment of the Seas cabins have been updated in the same way? If so, is it just some cabins or all cabins on the ship? I am thinking about a cruise on Enchantment and want to know if the rooms are "old" or "new".

I am very close to earning 50,000 points on my RCI Visa. I would like to use the points for a four night Bahamas cruise. Has anyone done this before? Are there blackout dates or can I book any four night Bahamas cruise I want? The website says the value my not exceed $1000.00; if my cruise costs more can I just pay the difference?

No formal night, just three smart casual nights according to Princess. Have fun on your cruise! I will be on the very next one!:)
