Considering doing whale watching in Cabo thru an independent provider. How choppy is the water, the boat they show looks small and I am assuming the waters may be choppy? What are the likelihood to see whales in Dec 14th?

Thank you, so it would seem if I am looking for that I would need to stay outside of that area. I appreciate your help.

Thank you for your response, in my research I am finding anything close to the airport has not much for food unless it is at the hotel. I appreciate your feedback.

I am looking for a Hotel near the airport that has restaurants within walking distance, post cruise out of long beach. Flight leaves at 540 am. I wont have use of a shuttle most are not open that early in the am. I prefer a mid level hotel that is clean and not run down.

When are you there? Whale watching can be hit or miss depending on time of the year.
we will be there Dec 14th and I think the date they have Dec 15th as the date. A few are open on the 14th.

Our cruise time for Cabo is the same, I was hoping to do some whale watching and shopping.

I have not been on MSC but as a Travel Agent I feel it is best to obtain first hand experience to be able to offer clients a variety of options when sailing.

Have you looked down the board at all the threads about the ports, particularly as you don't tell us what ports you are stopping at?
I apologize I thought the Mexican Riviera was the ports.
Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan and Cabo San Lucas

I have been searching the site for the top-rated things to do for newbies to the Mexican Riviera. We are traveling in Dec and are not thrill seekers or drinkers. What are your recommendations? Thanks in advance.

I too enjoy unique jewelry but I was personally thinking more fine jewelry then costume.

Looking for an island tour and maybe a stop at a beach. Docking from 8-6. Any ideas, we are not drinkers. TIA

YVE is coming in at around $179 a night.....on booking & expedia..
tempting...🤷♂️
YVE for me was worn down rooms, they felt like an old apartment building turned into a hotel. location was the best thing about this hotel.

same itinerary I am doing in April, I am excited to see what you do and see.

For the above listed hotels closest to Port are there places within walking distance for last minute needs and places to eat? We generally fly in 1 day prior to embarkation.
Thanks in Advance.April

We stayed at pan pacific pre cruise. Beautiful hotel close to so much within walking distance. Eateries in the bottom of the hotel.
I'm glad we splurged.

Trikes Aruba....be sure to get an automatic, unless you're adept at manual motorcycle transmissions.

I have been looking at Whale watching cabo and one other. I don't care to be on a ship excursion where your packed in like sardines.
