  1. I am a solo D+ sailing on Allure. As a solo, with either BOGO, I would eat in a specialty restaurant on nights 1 and 2. If I buy the BOGO online it is $40. It appears that the Diamond+ BOGO would be more expensive,. Is that correct? Does anyone know what restaurants participate in either of these deals. I think I remember that the Allure only has a few restaurants where the online BOGO can be used.

    Thanks!!

  2. Was very surprized to see family 8 person suites with Slides, 2 level rock climbing wall, air hockey table, etc. Reminds ( seriously) you of a McDonalds Playroom with all the nets full of balls and tube slide. Who would ever want to book a 7 or more day relaxing cruise in such an envioronment. Even the most liberal, social media, gum chewing mind could not be at ease after a few days with kids in this jungle gym suite. Be careful what you ask for, you might just get it. Sorry Royal Carrib, I am afraid you are catering to the wrong crowd with this....whatever happened to Elegant, romantic, relaxing cruising ?

Try a transatlantic cruise on a Radiance class ship!

  3. We have always been able to book our preferred restaurant once on board using the FNDR. Keep in mind this is a promotion and a really great value. If you care most about convenience and not the savings, you can always book your preferred restaurant online in advance...at regular price!

Me too. However, on Allure, once onboard, they now limit the selection of restaurants..

  4. With roads closed because of flooding and flights cancelled and/or airport closed travel is next to impossible. What are the cruisers going to do when they arrive in Galveston? Royal should take them to a safe port and transport home. Expensive yes, but lots of good will that will in the end benefit Royal. Airlines could waive change fees and assist with getting everyone home.

  5. I did the Chef's Table on Anthem in May. I have been to several Chef's Tables and this one was the best, partly because of the food and wine, but mainly the folks who attended. Before I knew it it was 10:30! It is held in a private dining room in a corner of CHOPS. To me it was worth every penny for a most enjoyable evening.
