Used AF2018 today to book parking for our September Anthem cruise to Norway and got the 10% discount. Thanks for the information.

I can but really my point was the inconsistency of the cruise lines response to matters arising from their rules.

Interesting to read that RCI wanted a letter from a UK Doctor. My wife and I contracted Covid 4 days before a cruise. Our Doctor attended to us due to our severe reaction and issued us with 'Unfit to Travel' letters. RCI refused to accept them despite the pleas on our behalf from our travel agent stating that we had not provided proof of positive tests and that the Doctors letter didn't have an NHS logo on it. No refund but eventually they said they would issue a cruise credit, still waiting on that.

The original post was from the UK and Anthem is heading over the pond to operate from Southampton. Things are a bit different here as regards numbers of D, D+ and Pinnacle. It will, as has already been pointed out, probably be dependent on the numbers on the cruise

Diamond Plus and Pinnacle Club members of the Crown & Anchor Society and guests reserved in our Suites (excluding Junior Suites) can take advantage of the Concierge Lounge. From the Royal Caribbean website in Q & A.

We were on the Navigator for a Baltic cruise in July 18. Most of the ports we were able to walk into city centres within 10 to 20 minutes. Google Maps and Street View helped a lot with planning.

Well said 'Bloodgem' some reviews must be taken with a very large pinch of salt.
We were on the Navigator June/July this year on its Baltic trip, very happy! Back for the 14 night Med cruise in September and it can't come soon enough.

How were the numbers in the Diamond and the Concierge Lounges during the "Happy Hours" ? We will be on the 27th June sailing. Have experienced the chaos of many Transatlantic's and almost empty lounges elsewhere in the world. First Baltic cruise so no real idea about the Crown and Anchor demographics.

HDMI cable from your player to an HDMI slot on the television and select the slot using the tv remote. We watched a few films this way on a transatlantic.

Been on 14 Transatlantics most with Royal and both East and Westbound. Never once had bad weather, maybe just lucky. Enjoyed them all and still looking to book more. Don't use internet or my phone, what could you do in the middle of the ocean if there was an emergency anyway! Its a great way to relax and unwind, read a good book or three and meet up with regular crossing cruisers. Downside is the C and D lounges are always busy, but hey ho I can put up with that. I'm sure you will enjoy it.

Did the Brilliance crossing in October 2016 there was no problem with MTD and showtimes. Maybe a few adjustments in the dining times to suit the shows but that didn't present any problems. We also managed to work around the Diamond lounge times by phoning every morning for our MTD times. Just a bit of planning required.

Stayed in this Junior Suite on a transatlantic. Incredible balcony!

I always enjoy the free bridge tour given to D+.

We have a Junior Suite booked on the Legend of the Seas and We were wondering what perks come with this and whether they have a separate Concierge Lounge that we will be able to use.

Double points and more floor space.....sorry Bob I see that you already provided that info. Just a thank you for all the information that I have gleaned from you over the years. I don't contribute much but pick up a lot of really good tips from yourself and others. I know that we have been on the same trips on several occasions and we do use both lounges but have never met, maybe one day, so meantime thanks again. Neil.

Hi, we were on the Brilliance on 7 June 12 night Med Cruise and for the first time in 25 cruises I didn't wear a dinner suit (Tux). Did wear a jacket and tie and felt very comfortable. My wife still dressed up but not with any long dresses. Huge mixture of fashions including smart/ casual/ very casual and a bit scruffy (my opinion) on the formal nights. Best advice is conform to the cruise line rules but be comfortable, its your cruise.

Not on the seapass but a Diamond Plus perk. We are just of the Brilliance and really enjoyed the Bridge and Galley Tours. The galley tour in particular was one of the best ever.

For years we booked direct with RCI UK but not now. After numerous problems with the South American call centre we gave up. We have now found a local agent and established a good relationship with them. This has worked well for us and seems to be the best solution to what was a frustrating problem.
-
We were there on 14 November this year on the Independence Transatlantic. Calm seas and warm weather, had a great time and no problems that we could see.
-
Yes without a doubt it has gone down the hill, now avoiding it for breakfast in favour of room service or diamond lounge.
First cruise from Southampton in December - how bad are the seas?

The answer to your question about the condition of the sea....flat calm, raging storm or anything in between. It's Britain we don't have bad weather, just inappropriate clothing.
