DH and I don't drink-just our choice. There is generally plenty to do depending on what you enjoy. DH complains there isn't, but almost every time I mention an activity he turns it down--except eating and sleeping. Bah humbug. Like everything else, a cruise is what you make of it. Every ship we have been on has listed Friends of Bill on the activities. Go and enjoy.

I knew this a lifetime ago, but what is the deal with ocean players club? I signed up a few cruses ago but forgot all about it. Do you need to contact the players club before you go on the cruise and they send you a welcome gift?
We are not big time gamblers, but we do like to play the slots. The last time I contacted the OPC, we had a dozen chocolate covered strawberries in our room, an invitation to a free slots tournament, free drinks and a free picture. I was shocked, but thrilled.

I spoke with the person selling future cruise certificate on our last cruise. She said we would LOVE the HC cabins on Magic. I didn't really love the one on Ecstasy.

I think we will go the shuttle route. If I drop the wives off and they have to stand in the sun longer than I have to I am sure I will hear about it. No sense taking the risk.
There is plenty of shade and some benches. They could also go inside to wait for you. If there is a long line they could get in it and save you some time.

I'm just glad you don't let anything keep you from enjoying life to the fullest. On our last cruise there was BHM that was a pleasure to watch. At the deck party after leaving Cozumel, he was right in the middle of the line dancing, etc. and kept up with all of the YSP (young skinny people). He was a really good dancer, and so obviously enjoyed himself, that everyone around him had more fun because of him.

No one mentioned that the doorway is only about 21 inches. Getting in easily may depend on how/where he carries his weight.
