Finally was able to get into my account after more emails from them again today. Very frustrating! Haven’t even checked to see if loyalty points are correct. Save that for another day.

When this happened to me, I was finally told to reregister for the website using my same email address. That got me access, but my booking didn’t immediately show up. I completed a ticket for that, and it eventually got linked to my account. As far as status and loyalty points, they are likely to remain incorrect until some time in the future. People have reported being able to get that straightened out once onboard. You do need to bring documentation to show.

Addition:
You should also be able to see your reservation w/o signing in by going to this website and
https://seaware.azamara.com/touchb2c/#/
Click on “Search Booking” (at top left) and put in your booking #, last name and sail date.
Got more directions after the 1st failure. This time said to reregister-just like you said. But now site says someone else is registered with my email. Yes, that person is me. What a mess!

I cannot access my account. Support sent me directions to reset my password. Website does not recognize my email which I’ve had forever-a real mess. Now I am again awaiting a reply from Azamara. I need to sign in for our cruise in August and also check loyalty points. I hope this can be settled before our next cruise. Just frustrating for us and I’m sure for them also.

That’s great news, but a little late for some of us. We have already paid to get tested. They need to get their act together because until today they were advertising that we would have to pay $59 per antigen test. What’s going on with them? Hope they are better organized on board.

We are paying 22 euros for each Antigen test tomorrow from a pharmacy in downtown Rome. Really quite a markup on Azamara. Well, no choice when we return. Must be paid and will do so to get back to the USA.
-
If you are tested onboard for disembarkation, surely this is ship personnel doing the testing and one should be able to use OBC to pay for testing. Very disappointing if not able to do so.
-
I just received an email from Azamara giving info on their Covid testing policy that is effective May 1.
-
Thank you for sharing the Covid testing info. It is definitely a big strike against Azamara. We have sailed with them many times, but changing the benefits after booking is a no-no. To tell customers that they can get testing at the cruise port for 59 euros is ridiculous. The price should be less than half of that price. I also read that some lower category suite guests are now being told they can’t use the special Spa area provided for suite guests. They are definitely going to lose loyal customers by cutting what we were told would be provided with our booking. We have not even received any notification from Azamara and we sail on May 8. Very disappointed indeed if this is true.

In February we scheduled a tour through Azamara on the Copper Canyon train. We arrived back to the ship very late. The captain held the ship for almost 2 hours until we all got back on board. No problem-I’m confident Azamara will get it all sorted out for you. But this can be disturbing to get schedules changed after much preplanning.

Journey N1-Suite 8050-midship (May 2017)
Cabin seemed fine to us. We didn't have any issues.

At this point I am very unhappy with Azamara. They came out with a price change that was less than what we paid and a whole category above what we had booked. My TA could not get them to do anything. They definitely do not honor the best price guarantee. We are loyal Discover Plus members. Where is Azamara's loyalty to us?---very disappointing...

Did the Fjords with Azamara. Had a balcony, but definitely enjoyed the open decks to get full views of special locations. Did not have a crowding problem. Can't speak to larger Celebrity ship, but aft would certainly provide a better view of both sides if you didn't want to view from open decks. Wonderful sights to be enjoyed whatever your viewing location.

Well, just think it might be good to leave well enough alone. Do you want perks from TA to be eliminated too? So many eliminations-maybe if one complains enough this will be a perk of the past too.

I was in Vietnam 2 years ago for Valentine's. Tried to bring a bouquet of roses on board Millenium that I got at a market while touring-confiscated. So don't know what to think -yes sometimes and no sometimes. Guess one never knows. We were on board the Equinox last year for our anniversary and my husband ordered flowers from Celebrity. It was huge with multiple kinds of flowers. I really wonder if flowers brought on or delivered from C are consistent from time to time. Somehow I doubt it.

Just go online and check out excursions that you think the whole family would enjoy. Check Trip Advisor for recommendations. Later in week check weather predictions in Cozumel. Make your choice and reserve. Enjoy.....
-
I forgot to say, you may want to consider booking something closer to the date you will be in Cozumel. Have been here in Playa for some time now and the weather can be rather iffy in this part of the country. You probably wouldn't want to be out on a water excursion if the water is really rough. And believe me for the last week and a half the water between Playa and Cozumel has been very rough because of the wind conditions. I'm sure this is a possibility at any time of year. So if you are thinking of booking a water excursion you may want to take this into consideration. - just a suggestion....

A 9 and 13 year old would probably not be interested in Tulum which is the site of Mayan ruins on the mainland. Definitely do some research and probably something water related could be of interest to everyone.

An incredible ancient city......we did it on our own in conjunction with Celebrity's Galapagos cruise at a fraction of the cost Celebrity was charging. Got private tours and transport from the airport in Cusco. Also did Lake Tittiaca and reed islands while we were there-wonderful experience. Definitely do it, but much better privately and less expensive too. Good luck!

We got booted once by Princess. Tried to get us to change cruise dates, but with vacations planned months in advance-not an option. Moved us to a lower cat cabin and gave us over $1000 OBC -not sure of exact amount because it was years ago. Really had to agree, as couldn't go at another time. We made the best of it. This does sound strange. I do find that C doesn't pamper their tried and true customers with upgrades too often. They tend to give those to newbies. Can you argue your point and try to get more money back or OBC-even though you say you do not care about the money? You should get abundant compensation for their poor planning. Not a pleasant situation-sorry they are doing this to you.

A sky suite and you're not happy. Am really surprised at your reaction to your assignment. Wow! Most people would be thrilled.
-
Good for you with the new cabin assignment! I noticed big price reductions on veranda and concierge as I checked the Celebrity site yesterday. Some lucky passengers will be sailing for really good prices on this TA and in some good locations. SOMETIMES it pays to wait to book or book a lower cat. and then upgrade, but this doesn't always pan out favorably. Our cat. is showing sold out, so one never knows.

I would definitely book on your own. You can find good choices at better prices. When we were in Amsterdam a few years ago we stayed at the Estherea Hotel-lovely small hotel with great service. We found it very easy to get around Amsterdam. Took a taxi from the cruise ship to the hotel with no trouble at all. Good luck!

We love the Summit. Traveled to Bermuda on board several times. Two summers ago we took our son, his wife, & grandsons - 2, 8 & 10. All had a wonderful time.

I really am disappointed that this perk was removed from Aqua, as it doesn't cost them a whole lot. Maybe they were missing out on the sale of water. We are sailing in A in April. All I can think of is the new CEO wants to make a big splash by changing Celebrity in so many ways. Celebrity might lose some loyal Aqua sailors and lose more revenue than the cost of a couple of bottles of water. Too soon to tell..........

We very rarely stay in American affiliated hotels when in Europe. Go to a travel site and put in your dates. See prices and read reviews. Small guest houses and b&b’s can be found in great tourist areas with much better pricing. Good luck, but with prices high book something soon.
