Not a problem...
Thank you!

We will be sailing with our 8 year old Grandson and I want to make him an Easter Basket. All candy is wrapped in the original containers.
Thanks in advance

We have always sailed the Caribbean, but are doing the Canad New England Cruise in September.
Are the duty free prices on the ship for alcohol and cigarettes pretty much the same?

Once again Mark, I'll need to know who the master is. I never found out who replaced Capt Espen in the rotation. Thanks in advance.
I too am wondering who the Captain will be. I have been hawking your thread daily ~ we sail the Grandeur on Feb. 3rd:D

Radio,
I so love your live threads! We will be on the Grandeur on Feb. 3rd ~ your posts will certainly make the time fly by and build my excitement that much more! Happy Sails!

Great Itinerary- We did the ship's Catamaran and snorkel tour in Barbados. While I generally do things on my own this was a great tour. The crew was outstanding and the snorkeling spot and beach very nice.
In St. Marten Bernard's Tours is awesome. He will meet you right at the pier and take you on a great tour of the island and you will have time at the beach.
Love, love, love Bernard's. They are awesome!

Is there a $2 ultimate blackjack machine in the casino? I ask because Enchantment had one, yet the Jewel did not.
We were on the Grandeur last month, and no I did not see one. They did have the roulette machine though.

Don't make the same mistake I did ~ "Gift Certificate must be redeemed prior to your cruise vacation. Gift Certificates can not be redeemed onboard" (10 days prior to your cruise).
I realize I was at fault, but seriously, who reads the fine print on a gift certificate? One would assume that it could be taken on the ship and USED just like any other gift certificate.
Went to Guest Services and the Hotel Manager, they all refused to budge. Really RCI...you need to change your policy!

Sitting in the Palladium Theatre right now waiting to disembark. Wish they would let us out of here so we can get on the road.
But in answer to the OP- 10 days ago we arrived at the port at 10:30 and walked right onto the ship.

Thanks. They are only saying 3-5, but our Granddaughter is taking us to the port, just worried about her drive back.
-
How early can you arrive at the cruise terminal? If they are still getting folks off the ship can we just hang out?

I am assuming that a waterpik has to stay plugged in all the time. I have a Sonicare toothbrush which only needs charging every few days and I just plug it in on the desk/vanity area out in the room when it needs a charge.
We also take the Sonicare and do the very same thing. We have both the electric and battery Waterpic, but the battery one does not last long for some reason and crapps out after a couople of months. Bought a CVS brand this time - will see what happens! DH & I spend more time on our teeth than we do taking a shower!
-
One combo US/Euro socket for electric shavers only.
Thanks Bob. I thought as much. Went today a got a battery operated travel water pic...the though of having a long extension cord into the bathroom just for that....well lets just say not worth it! But wanted to make sure before I opened it.:D

Can some tell me what kind they have in the bathroom? Thanks in advance

have been there 2 times, first time we took a taxi to the shopping district and walked back to the ship shopping AND stopping at several bars and were always treated very well. The second time we did the "Bar Hop" which was a blast. Again very nice folks.

More.....please:confused:

Hi,
Right now it's not on the website but is listed in the shore excursion brochure. I will be there in the spring and am looking for ideas. I've seen the new part of San Juan on a previous cruise. I thought this Old San Juan tour seemed interesting since it also goes to El Morro.
Another tour I thought looked good is the El Yunque Rain Forest Hike.
Thanks for any suggestions or ideas!
Keith
We did this tour several years ago. It was quite nice and a good value for the money.
-
thanks, guess I'm just not remembering:eek:
-
Haven't cruise in a year, but I remember that each passenger got a setail pass. Now there is only one for the primary pass holder. Is this new?
-
Merry Christmas to you and Judith!

I too love your writing style and sense of humor! Have a wonderful time!

we have Bernard's tour reserved on our cruise next week and the weather looks like it's going to be kind of nasty. Does the tour still go on and if so is there shelter at the beach? I keeping my fingers crossed that the weather will be beautiful but maybe need a plan B
beaches have many, many bars that have cover. Bernard's is great, I'm sure they will alter the excursion if the weather is bad.

Will be visiting St. Thomas in December.
Will be on a Disney ship so we will tender to the downtown shopping district. We just want to buy some bottle of gin and bourbon and would like to know which shop has the best prices.
A.J.Rise, right at the port shops and one located in the main shopping strip. They will even deliver to your ship!
