Hi all. I just remembered another one, "The Mouse That Roared". There's a nice shot of the Queen Elizabeth as the "attacking Army" shoots at it with bow and arrows!
If you haven't seen this movie, find it and watch it, it's very funny.

Just watched the last half of a 1948 movie "Romance On The High Seas". It was in color and showed some nice shots of a Grace Line ship (Santa Rosa?).

I thought I had read a post here some time ago (might be on old board) with a huge list of movies that featured an ocean liner in the film.
Was it here? Can anyone point me in the right direction for this list?
Thanks.
Whats more important the Itinerary or the Ship?
in Norwegian Cruise Line
Posted
It's itinerary first. The only time we picked a ship because of the ship was on the Norway.
We've traveled a lot so we pick where we'd like to go that's new and then see which lines go there. Then we pick the ship.
Someone stated that for Hawaii, the ship doesn't really matter and I sorta agree. However, if I planned a Hawaii cruise, I'd take the one that also goes to Fanning Island, just to experience that desolated spot.
Yes, food, activites, and such do differ from line to line but I don't think so much as to make one ship better than another when going to a specific destination.
Anyway, itinerary, price, line, ship, are our choices.
