I just rang crown and anchor about the double points as wanted to add a third cruise so it will take us to diamond for our cruise in Nov 2022. I was told that the double points is only for cruises up to end of Sept 2022! I told the crown and anchor person, Lucas, that it had been extended to Dec 31 but he insisted that that was wrong and it was still Sept. On further investigation by myself it show on Royal’s website for USA that it has been extended to Dec but on UK version it still showing Sept. I think this is unfair to loyal customers from outside USA. Do you think this is a mistake and it will be changed. If not, how do I complain about this.

We were on Meraviglia inaugural cruise in Med but in a balcony cabin as Yacht Club was full. Looking forward to hearing your views on this ship and I’m sure you wouldn’t have experienced the dining problems we had! We decided not to cruise MSC again unless we could get the Yacht Club. We had a brilliant cruise on Preziosa in Yacht Club which we booked after reading your previous review.

Use the airport bus to piazza le Roma and then people mover to port all for €9.50 in total - ship wanted $55! To see St. marks, Murano etc get an all day Vaporetto ticket for €20. Again from ship take people mover (€1.50) to piazza le Roma where you can get any vaporetto

Checkout the 15 night indy TA, Currently £499 each for inside, or £699 for balcony
I'm looking at allure near Christmas , Currently uk pricing is £749 each for balcony, checked US Web site, balconies going for $3700 for two
So for these cruuses the uk prices are good,
Just checked Indy TA on royal Caribbean U.K. Site and it's from £975 pp for inside all others showing sold out!

I sort of thought that. We booked Harmony on day 1 and that was March 17/15 for Oct 23/17! It was a long wait but an extremely good price and so worth it, we loved Harmony.
We loved Harmony too and are waiting for booking to open up for this one. Will we see you on her?

When we cruised on P&O Aurora to Caribbean and back in November 2012 we hadn't realised it was a Classic FM cruise. Drew was delighted and thoroughly enjoyed all the concerts and I enjoyed all the ones I attended (discovered the beading classes which occupied me). It was one of the best cruises that we have been on.

I was on the Harmony Transatlantic oct/Nov in a central park balcony category C1 and had bars of Gentle soap, shower gel dispenser in the shower plus tubes of Clarify shampoo, Hydrate conditioner, Revitalize shower gel and body lotion which were replenish when needed.

Loved reading your review and photos. It brought back memories of our wonderful cruise on Preziosa in Yacht Club in June.

Joff's my favourite CD. Had him 4 times. Very funny. Make sure to be out on deck in port. He'll make fun of all the smaller ships. He also does a great morning show.
Can agree about Joff, he was brilliant on our Indy cruise back in 2011 and his catch phrase then was 'crickey'

May I ask was your application accepted
Regard
Joy
Yes it was accepted and I entered USA for my last cruise with no problems and don't expect any issues this year too.

Hi does anyone know who will be the activities manager for the transatlantic on Harmony of the Seas (23rd October) and how I can contact him/her? I am trying to sort out a venue for our beading classes for our roll call members and would like to have this resolved before we cruise so we all know where to meet. Thanks in advance.

Depending on the CD, most have a fb page and will chat on there if they have time.
Thanks for this info. Have found his FB page and will try there.

Does anyone know how to contact a cd before the cruise? Trying to organise something - thanks

I have some from Preziosa if that would help.

Finally got our tickets 10 days before cruise. Never got them so close to embarkation date with any other cruise line.

Thanks for the quick replies. I did the online check in weeks ago but left the id clear as we do not have ID cards here in UK. Filled in everything else including passport details. Will contact MSC on Monday.

Our cruise on MSC Preziosa is now less than 2 weeks away and we actually leave home 2 days before sail date to get to embarkation port. When can I expect to receive our tickets?

Drewliin ... The info on prices came from Stuart at MSC UK.
Thanks as know Stuart. Also found a UK ta who has it listed too but the dates are too late for us which is a shame as this ship is going to be amazing. Thanks for your help.

Looked at their uk website and can't find any mention of a ta on MSC Seaside?

I was able to get the answer to my original question within seconds of asking at the YC concierge desk last week. Essentially I was bumped because they gave my original cabin to another family MSC decided to upgrade to a YC cabin (without the amenities). They do this when the YC is not fully booked and want to see if they can entice these folks to go YC in the future. They did it to us in April of 2014 and it worked. We were upgraded on our second cruise with MSC and have booked YC ever since. I can't imagine why the office in Munich didn't know of this practice or, if they knew of it, offer it as a possible explanation.
Anyway...last week's cruise was fantastic and we had a very good time. Service was the best yet.
When you said that you were upgraded to YC without the amenities, what does this mean? No drinks included, mini bar or access to YC lounge, pool? Just curious.

Update on my previous point:
I decided to ring Crown and Anchor again and this time spoke to a lovely lady Maria who assured me that I will indeed get the double points as the offer is for all crown and anchor members(gold) and above who book before Sept 30 2021 for cruises taken between Jan 1 and Dec 31 2022. She also sent me an email with details.
Just goes to show it’s pot luck who you get and what answer you get!
