Had a medical emergency on an April sailing of the Wonder of the Seas.
Ships medical staff was amazing and exceptionally quick. We were disembarked in Cozumel for follow up. Doing great now but the insurance process is unreal.
Still waiting for AON to cover our expenses. Can’t get the status. Every few weeks we get a request for the same info we have submitted multiple times. Seems like a delaying tactic. I asked to speak to management but nobody returns calls. I reach out on line for updates but nobody responds even though the sight says they will within 1 business day.
We had a very similar experience with AON. We had to cancel a cruise due to an injury days before the cruise started. We supplied Dr signed documents and filled out the correct forms but AON continued to ask for information we already provided. Stick with it, we eventually got paid!

We just received our refund today for a 29 May cruise. It actually was quick for us, less than 30 days from when we requested it.

We have a cruise booked for April 2021 with Princess and will book more without hesitation.

Our last Princess Cruise was the 15 day Hawaii round trip from San Francisco. Amazing crew and wonderful ship. Truly an incredible experience that will keep us smiling and looking forward to when we can cruise again.

April 2021 is our next cruise. Our last cruise in November was 2 weeks long to Hawaii. The pictures and memories will keep us going until next April.
-
Happened to us as well. 21 November. Unfortunately none of the pre selected dates work for us so will cancelled and will find another cruise to go on. To bad too, we were going on a small family cruise.

We just returned from the Grand Princess today. On all wine drinks over $12 we only paid the difference. It showed up on our account as the bar (Vines) then the extra dollar or two.
hope this helps.

We just returned from the Carnival Vista. This is our second time on the ship. The crew was great, the ship is lovely, and the food (in our opinion) was just ok in the dining room. One thing I found surprising though was when we stopped by the Java Blue Café this morning, before leaving the ship, we were charged for our coffee. They explained that CHEERS was not active on debarkation day.
I understand Texas laws are unique and you cant use it on the first day, but this is the first I have heard about not allowing it on the last day. Oh, and just to clarify we were not trying to get any alcohol in the drink...just coffee. Is this a new change to the CHEERS program?

We are going to sail on the Vista again in January. When we were on her over a year ago, they had a party onboard where everyone wore white. Do they still do that? It was a great party!

My Booking Confirmation (email attachment) always has a paragraph about SIP & SAIL under Payment Details. I book directly with Princess (transferring to a travel agent for OBC prior to final payment), so it may be different if you booked with a travel agent.
You can also verify on Cruise Personalizer. After you select your booking, select "Boarding Pass & Travel Summary", and then select "Print Travel Summary" under TRAVEL DOCUMENTS. "PREMIER BEVERAGE PACKAGE PROMOTION" is listed on the summary under SPECIAL SERVICES FOR THIS BOOKING.
I recommend printing your travel summary and taking a copy with you on the cruise.
This is perfect! Thank you for everything. I printed this and it is exactly where you said it would be. Again, thank you!

We also purchased the Sip and Sale for an upcoming cruise. I think it will be a great way to try new drinks and wine while we sail toward Hawaii! Is there a way to check and verify it is applied to the booking? I really didn't see anything in our confirmation email.

My father-in-law is taking us on a 10 day cruise to Alaska in June. My dh and I have never been on a cruise. How much of a hold will they put on our Credit card when we board? There are 4 of us in our cabin. Thank you!
We are jealous! We were on the Grand last August for a 10 day to Alaska and loved every minute of it. The crew is amazing and will take great care of you. Have a wonderful time.

Booo I love Crooners!
Me too.

Let me echo how wonderful the Grand is and we agree it was our best cruise to date. It was so good we have a 15 day to Hawaii booked on the Grand for 2019!

We just returned from the Grand on a 10 day Alaska cruise and for us, Club Class was amazing. The service was over the top, our servers were the best we have ever had. The extra items for the menu were delicious. We really like this extra perk for a suite and look forward to our next cruise so we can experience Club Class again.

I know there is a cigar bar on the Grand Princess, but are there any additional places a passenger can smoke a cigar? A friend who is travelling with us on this cruise asked me and I told him I knew where I could find an answer.
Thanks for any information,
-
Yes, we are! It's getting close.
We'll be getting off the ship as you are ready to board. Don't worry, we'll try not to tear the place up to much!

Hi,
We board the Grand Princess in a few weeks and was curious if the music in the Princess Theater was provided by a live orchestra or is it pre-recorded music? It's not a big deal, but I do enjoy the live band during the performances.
Thanks for the information,
-
Tequila , straight up. No Salt. No Lime.
So good...

I guess the good news is that you and I will be able to find seats at the bar in Crooners to sit and drink all day.:) The bad news is all of the people walking past us glaring at us.:(
Don't worry. We'll be sitting with you. It will give them more to stare at!

Thanks everyone. How bad was the wait time for beverage service outside of the main dining- at the bars, poolside, etc as compared to other ships?
We were on the Vista in January and found the bars to be a lot busier than other ships. The slowest bar was in the Casino. Having said that, the bartenders were fantastic and worked hard to take care of everyone surrounding the bar, you just had to wait a little longer for service.

Hi guys, doing the 10 day alaska RT san francisco, are there any special events we should be aware of? sucha s a white party, or dress up parties that you have done? I know there is 2 formal nights so we got that down but otherwise any help is appreciated
We are also doing the 10 Day RT San Fran. We leave in August. We are really looking forward to the new menu in Sabatinis and enjoying the Grand.
