We will be on the July 5 Celebrity Eclipse cruise, which stops in the Faroe Islands. Any suggestions on what to do there? I have done some research and it looks beautiful. One private company offers a boat tour to the Vestmanna Bird Cliffs, but is there any concern about sea sickness due to rough water? Any help would be appreciated.

Lars--we ( family of 3 including a 15 year old daughter) just booked Celebrity Eclipse for 14 nights in July for Norway and Iceland. We stop at Geiranger, Alesund, Olden and Stvanger in Norway. Any ideas would be helpful. I noted references to a walking map in Alesund and would appreciate a copy (mlglmr@aol.com) Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your help. If you become aware of how we can hire a driver for the day, it would be appreciated.

We need help. I am presenting a paper in Berlin at an international conference when we are in port (mid July). We are looking to hire a driver for the day--to take us sightseeing on the way to Berlin, then dropping me off at my conference and taking my wife and 12 year-old daughter to see the sights of Berlin, while I make my presentation (basically 4-6), then returning us to the ship. Any ideas would be helpful.

My wife, 11 year old daughter and I will be in Dubrovnik on the Splendor of the Sea on July 17, 10:30 to 6:30. How crowded will it be that day? Any recommended tour guides? Where to have a late lunch? Besides walking the wall, any suggestions?

We do 3 cruises each year, and have had 10 on Celebrity and 6 on Princess. My wife and I absolutely prefer Celebrity--for several reasons-first for the food and specialty restaurants, secondly for the wine cellar, which allows one to try a taste, half glass or full glass of 64 wines at any time, thirdly for the beauty of the ship. We did a 12 night British Isles cruise last summer on Princess and loved the itinerary but thought the food was the worst of our 31 cruises. Celebrity is consistently good, if not very good for food in the dining room and adequate in the buffet. Their specialty restaurants, especially Murano, Lawn Club and Qsine are wonderful.
