I can't answer your specific question, but I can tell you that Puerto Plata and La Romana are on completely different sides of the island, so what is true for PP will have nothing to do with La Romana.

Is your ship stopping at both ports?

Thanks for the answers, yes we stop at both ports. Looks like an easy day.

  2. Hi

Can anyone tell me if the pools at Puerta Plata and La Romana are free to use or is there an entrance fee.

If free is there a charge for chairs, I know food and drink are extra.

Just had my tour in La Romana cancelled and now trying to make new plans. Leave in 5 weeks.

    Thanks

So the next three months goes like this… April is a light month, just the Celebrity Edge, May will be the Oasis then Adventure of the Sea both out of NJ.  June will be a 10 nighter on NCL out of England and then another week on the Oasis at the end of the month in June.

HI, we are also on the Adventurer on May 12. Great minds think alike. LOL

  4. Hi

We just did a snorkeling tour with HAT TRICK charters June 8th. We had a great time. We went all the way out to the edge of the reef. No other boats around.

Small catamaran they take no more that 18 people (i think). Check out their web site.

Provided all gear, had some sandwiches and drinks.

  5. Thank you all for the answers. As I am driving to the port and parking there, it is easy to bring it home. That is why I would like to buy a little more than 2 bottles. I would not buy and fly anymore. Too much work.

Thanks again, I leave next week.

  6. They do not have cabanas on Columbus Cove , they do have beach bungalows. I have had both though on Labadee. I much prefer the bungalows on Columbus Cove as the water is right in front of the bungalows and the workers there did make it private and not let others in there unless you had a arm band on. They waited on us all day. I would book the bungalows over the cabanas in a heart beat. Plus they are cheaper. You could see the Aqua park from there. But as far as noise we had to issues. Very relaxing day there. Loved it.

Thank you so much, that's what I wanted to hear.

  7. Hi all

I am looking at a cabana on Columbus cove. We have had cabanas on Barefoot beach in the past.

1- Is the cabana area closed off or are they just on the beach?

2- Are they near the Aqua park area and noisy do to it's location?

    Thanks

  8. Hi Kruisin' Karyn

Try taking a look at Barcelona day tour, we used them after our cruise.

They have a few different tours. We were picked up at the cruise pier, did the tour and dropped off at our hotel. But I think they can drop off at the airport too. Just go to the web site and check. We stayed in Barcelona for a few days and used them for a couple of tours and were very happy with them.
