Only you can see your Activity Streams.
If you are referring to the content listed in your profile, posts and posters are public. Was the same in the previous system. If you are creeped out by the fact that others can read what you post, don't post.
I should be able to control what I want others to see, just like on every other forum I am a member of. There are privacy issues admin need to address.

I think under you cc id top right click there then MANAGE FOLLOWED CONTENT
You will see a box then in each message there is a button Change preferences
There is one option to "let others see that I follow this" uncheck the box & update
or you can just click UNFOLLOW
There are more settings under Account settings that may work better for you
I am still figuring this out myself
I'm not going to go through 7 pages of new posts to click a button for each individual thing I've looked at or liked in the last day. There has to be a way to turn off the setting so people can't see it.

Which Activity Stream are you referring to?
Is it a list of all the posts that you've made? If so, that's always been available via Search.
Posts, anything you've liked and anything you've looked at.

Well, according to Jenn, it takes a long time to index over 15 million posts. And I believe they're also working on making sure all those old posts (with old codes for photos and other links) still show the correct photos/links.
Why would they index old posts that are outdated and full of useless information?

I'm on my mobile this morning and notice that the Emojis are shot as missing graphics. Thought it might be an issue with the mo I'll. Guess not.
Again, how does the site detect that you have only read some of the unread posts on a page?
Any site I have experience with has the same problem. It's why I use the browser back function to return to a previous position on a page.
It isn't my job to figure out how it works. But I know it does, on many other forums I belong to.

I suspect the site figures you have read everything on a page it has sent. How would it know you stopped reading halfway through?
I use the browser back function to return to a previous position, when possible.
On most other forums, when you click on a thread title you've read previously, it takes you to the first unread post. It isn't doing that here, it is defaulting to the very last post on the last page. It needs to be fixed.

How can I turn off my Activity Stream? I don't like that everyone can see everything I've been doing, laid out in a list, for the taking. It's creepy and invasive.
There has to be a privacy setting to turn it off I'm somehow missing.

The wind does not blow it all away, that's why smokers think no one will ever know. I sometimes get smoke from the deck above or from cabins further up the line.
Sent from my iPad using Forums
We had someone smoking frequently on their balcony above us on our cruise. We could smell it all the time, as well as see the ashes raining down.
Unfortunately, we couldn't use our balcony much because of it.

It's been discussed countless times on here regarding dining, seating, etc....but please hear me out, seeking advice.
I've talked with RCL over the phone about our ordeal we went through on Anthem. We deliberately booked a smaller ship for our next cruise, to try and avoid DD and where we could be seated at a larger table so we can meet others at dinner.
Now we're booked on a smaller ship - but they landed us into "my time dining" which we didn't want - we asked for traditional early, so we could get a large table. With MTD, I'm thinking that, AGAIN, we will end up being seated ALONE at a table for two.
What, if any, would be the most effective way to get my message across to RCL that we sincerely request a larger table? Will write a letter. I just don't know specifically who, or what department to address.
We were a party of two with MTD that were forced to share a table unless we expressly requested a 2 top in the MDR. We despised sharing a table and once we realized we could, we asked for a table for 2, only.

I have been both on Rhapsody of the Seas and Explorer of the Seas to both the South Pacific and New Zealand and the only places you could smoke were outside on two sections of the decks. No smoking in the indoor areas at all.
That is only while the ship is in Australia. In the US, smoking is allowed in the casino, unfortunately. I believe the OP will be on the ship to Alaska.
Smoking by the pool and solarium might as well be inside. We avoided the starboard side of the pool and solarium.

Why is everyone being so mean to this lady? You really all need to check your self. Just rude in every sense of the word.
You aren't surprised, are you? You know how it goes when anyone dares criticize RCL.

Missed you by a week.
Last week, some days were quite slow, others were somewhat OK. The 2 sea days seemed to be the worst.
Agreed. Sometimes, wifi on Explorer last week was so painfully slow, I gave up and logged off.

I didn't care for the sheets on our RCCL cruise. I thought they were scratchy and felt cheap. I seem to be in the minority, though.

While I never had a problem with ship tour groups, the others just ticked me off. Like in so many other areas of life the few tell the many "The heck with you. I'll do what I want." Subject closed I guess.
On every cruise, we see a lot of people who think rules don't apply to them, including being back to the ship on time. No, they weren't on ship excursions, either.

I just miss bread!
The head chef is a trained pastry chef, so all the bread onboard was delicious.

Our last cruise on Explorer was pretty darn enjoyable food wise the whole cruise!....K.O.:)
The best I can say is most of it was edible. The service/crew was outstanding and the ship looked great, but the food was meh and the entertainment with the exception of Joel Mason was cringe worthy.

This making me drool. I have been dieting for a month. Thanks for the menus. I will have a steak sandwich please. :)
You might want to temper your expectations. The food wasn't all that impressive on Explorer. :)

We haven't cruised since the old days when you stood at the photo gallery searchimg through all the pictures. We will be on the Explorer next week. How do we find our pictures with the viewers?
Just off the Explorer and they have machines in the photo gallery where you swipe your seapass card and all your photos come up.

We will be on the Explorer on Friday. What is the fee for Johnny Rockets these days? I looked all over the RCCL website and could not find the info? When it was free, I used to go and maybe just get a sundae. Or onion rings. But now there is a fee, I will only go for a meal. Too bad.
$6.95 per person

Currently on Explorer...beds are awful and killing my back. First morning, DH literally couldn't move upon waking. He has a bad back, but the beds are still inexcusable. Fair warning for everyone.

Ugh! Sorry to hear that! I hope your weather improves!
Thank you, I knew it would improve as soon as we made it to the Inside Passage. Last night was especially rough between 11-12with drawers coming open and me almost falling out of bed, but smooth water this morning! My stomach couldn't have taken much more. lol

Explorer is rocking and rolling today in 15 foot seas and 30+knot winds. Trust me, I would much rather be home on my couch.

Has anyone heard if RCI will offer a moment of recognition/silence for those sailing on this somber date this year?
Do they offer a moment of silence or remembrance on December 7th? September 11th is no different. We will be on a rccl ship on 9/11 and are not planning on anything being mentioned.

Thanks for the attempted help. I'm out and moving on from CC after 9 years. I'll stick with the RCCL blog forums.
