  1. Ok. Suppose Passenger 1, 2, 3, & 4 are all booked in the same stateroom. If one of these passengers can't go, can we cancel just for that passenger? Or do we have to cancel the whole reservation and book a new cabin for 3 passengers?

If we CAN cancel just for that 1 passenger before the 75-Day period, will be get a full refund from what the passenger paid?

    Thanks!

Before final payment, the passenger will receive a full refund of every penny paid, and it will not affect the other three at all.

  2. Anyone know if there are free weights (bar bells?) in the Fitness Center? Any small size like 1-2lbs?

I have physical therapy stuff I have to do, so I figured I'd ask ahead of time before packing my 6 lbs of weights (assuming I can even do that).

They start at half a pound. There ones, twos, threes - so physical therapy exercises should be no problem.

  3. You booked a week ago, yes? So, no 48 hour price guarantee for you.

And you have taken 14 Royal Caribbean cruises, 5 of them since the policy became "no price refunds after final payment date".

So why are you so indignant?

I do not mean to sound harsh, but facts are facts.

  4. Has the system for accessing your your account/reservation via the TV in your cabin been added to any other ships besides the Oasis & Allure? I'm booked on the Indy in April and was wondering if this system will be there.

The Independence of the Seas has had account access via in-cabin interactive TV since her launch in 2008. Not reservations, though.

  5. We have stopped in various bar/lounge venues on RCI ships for a drink before dinner, and our daughter has always accompanied us. However, they would not be allowed in the casino, nor in any of the lounges dedicated to Crown & Anchor members during the evening cocktail hour, such as the Concierge Club, or Diamond Lounge. If there is not a dedicated Diamond lounge and the cocktail hours are held in a specific bar or lounge, or if they use that venue for overflow, they would not be allowed there either. The cruise compasses delivered daily to your room will note the specific venues that are not open to children under 18.

Children are definitely allowed in the Concierge Lounge when accompanied by a parent or guardian.

  6. See card insert for official rules (The card just had the legal stuff... but it did say you had to depart in December 2013 eligible. Oh... and you had to make your booking by November 30, 2013.

SO... I am happy with my chances... and think this is pretty creative of RCCL!!

Are you sure about those dates? ;) It's already past the deadline to book!!!!

I am pretty sure that you mean that it must be booked by November thirtieth two thousand FOURTEEN and depart by December 2015.

    Yes?

  7. We packed ours in bubble wrap and no problem. As to the kids room if they are underage -21- an adult has to be listed in that room. We took our nephews 14 and 18 at the time, one was listed with me and the other with my husband. We had adjoining cabins and we had the doors between the 2 unlocked by the room steward. We took 4 bottles, 2 in my luggage and 2 in my husbands. I marked each bag with a label stating 2 bottles of wine .

An adult does NOT have to be booked with the children in the original post. The family is in two CONNECTED cabins. That fulfills all of RC's requirements.

Your nephews were not YOUR children; that is the difference.

Q: What is Royal Caribbean International's Age Policy? s.gif A: Royal Caribbean International's minimum age to sail unaccompanied on sailings originating in North America is twenty-one (21). The minimum age to sail unaccompanied on sailings from South America, Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zealand is eighteen (18).

The Company retains the right, on rare occasions, to raise the minimum age to sail unaccompanied on any sailing when local laws require or permit such a modification.

For voyages originating in North America:

No Guest younger than the age twenty-one (21) will be assigned to a stateroom unless accompanied in the same stateroom by an adult twenty-one (21) years old or older. A guest's age is established upon the first date of sailing.

This age limit will be waived for children sailing with their parents or guardians in connecting staterooms; for underage married couples; and for active duty members of the United States or Canadian military.

Certain other restrictions and conditions will apply; such as compliance with the age twenty-one (21) alcohol policy, and proof of marriage for underage couples or proof of active duty military status required.
