  1. Paradise Beach in Cozumel is great for a beach day. $3 to get in gets you a chair by the beach or pool. They have inflated beach toys in the water, ($15 charge if you want to use those), a great restaurant and great service right from your chair!

It's about a 5 mile ride by taxi and the fare is usually cheap. When you're ready to leave there will be taxi's waiting at the entrance.

Going here on our Indy trip in February!!

  2. Firstly, please pardon my ignorance!

I've seen a number of threads asking for the specific MDR menus on different cruises. The menus are named (kind of weird names and I don't recall them now) by day. Can someone please explain this to me and tell me what each is called and what foods that specific menu offers??

I might not have worded this right so I apologize in advance!

  3. Thanks everyone for your help! I did not mean to start a debate :D:D

I told my daughter if she DID NOT get a passport, she would need to bring her driver's license, birth certificate, marriage certificate and divorce decree. She's actually had a passport, but it has expired and when I asked her where it was, she said "Somewhere". I am NOT going to do this for her as she is 39 years old and needs to do it for herself. Also, she lives about 2 hours from me so I can't take her by the hand and lead her through the steps!

I am going to go to the US Passport page and do some reading.

    Thanks again!

  4. I'm going to be calling RCL before our cruise, just to make sure, but.....

It is my understanding that if you are sailing a "closed loop" cruise, you do not need a passport. Is this correct? Our only port will be Cozumel.

Having this debate with my DD whose aunt is insisting that she needs a passport.

    Thanks for your help!

  5. Thanks everyone for your answers and opinions. DD and GD won't eat dinner in the MDR because they don't want to "dress up", even though "dressing up" is really not that anymore except for formal night. Plus, neither of them eats much and are so picky that they probably wouldn't find anything on the menu they'd like.

So, I guess it's Windjammer or elsewhere for us!

PS - We are sailing on the Liberty in March
