We're planning to do a day pass at one of the resorts.  Our ship is in port until 11 so I would like to go back to ship, change and walk to a close restaurant to grab dinner.  Does that exist?  If so, suggestions?

Are we allowed to give out our PVP's info? Mine is super fantastic...I have his email, cell....everything. I always end up emailing him with my anxieties several times prior to my cruises. And he's never bothered me...ever.

I booked a handicapped room through a Carnival agent, whom I've used many times and trust implicitly, and he assured me that in the case of our room being needed by a handicapped person, we would NOT be downgraded. Only a lateral or upgrade.

I am flying to Fort Lauderdale, jumping on a shuttle and going straight to the port in Miami. I can't carry on a bottle of champagne on the plane. Any ideas on how I can manage getting a bottle on the ship in this situation? I'm sure there are no handy dandy liquor stores within walking distance of the port in Miami. :(

Rivers Ave can be a little sketchy but since you arent leaving your car there overnight, it should be fine. Definitely not an area to walk around in. Perhaps order a pizza or something for dinner that night.

Why would they plop a Radisson in the middle of a sketchy area??? I thought I could trust that name! UGH

I was on this same cruise in May and Parta was also our waiter!!! We loved him and you are dead on....he works his butt off! We were lucky becs we had late dining and we were able to talk to him each night a little bit after dessert. He is from Indonesia and told us a little about himself. He was so nice!

Did he have an assistant named Ida? Pronounced Eeda? She also worked extremely hard! I told her I would take her home in my luggage! She was always hugging me!!!! These people work so hard!!!! It's so admirable!

I'm scared....I booked a room at the Radisson with shuttle service (flying in the night before) and I'm afraid it's in a bad part of town....it was like only $103......Here's the address...think it's bad?
