That is extremely tight, particularly for a group that size. As someone put it, sounds like herding cats.

Does Port Valet accept bags for flights that early? I am curious, did you check the logistics before you booked the flight?

If you look around the board there are a couple of shuttle companies mentioned. I would be contacting them to see what they can do for you. Its going to be a stressful day.

I've already registered for Port Valet as our flight just made their 11am cutoff!  We knew it'd be tight but hoping early Sunday morning traffic would not be too bad.  Hopefully I'm not being overly optimistic but since the flights were offered via Princess EZAir I thought they'd be doable.  No doubt about being a stressful morning though.

If you have TSA pre-check, then you wouldn't need Spot Saver (also, you reserve your spot saver place I believe 3 days prior to your flight date).

You might contact Seattle Express to reserve a single shuttle van for your group of 10.

If you have to go the taxi or Uber route, and have group members that are traveling to different cities, you should consider dividing the group by flight destination (even if grandma wants an extra few minutes with the grand kids).  Or, if you are all flying into the same city, I would divide up by family / relationship units, so partners are not separated. Delays and glitches happen, and you don't want to be waiting for everyone to re-partner up in the main area of the terminal.  You can always meet up at the gate.

Hope you have a wonderful trip!

Thank you for the great suggestions.  We do have a couple dilly dalliers!

  3. What is the most efficient way for a group of 10 (6 adults/4 kids) to transport from Pier 91 to SeaTac?  Our schedule will be tight as we have an 11:10 Sunday am flight.  Thinking it will save time, we  plan to use Port Valet. Is there an advantage to register for Spot Saver if we have TSA Precheck, or are they basically the same? Recommendations for private transfer options appreciated.

  4. Actually, The Regal Princess will be back from its European rotation on September 22nd docking at the Brooklyn Cruise Port. We cruise on the Regal on the 22nd for a 7 day New England/Canada itinerary. Our cruise returns to Brooklyn, NY on September 29th.

Would be appreciative of an update as we are sailing Regal on Sept 29.
