Once you start sailing suites you are hooked. Particularly if your spouse enjoys them.😀
You got that right.

Found out yesterday that Oct 15th cruise on Allure changed from going to Puerto Rico and St. Maartan to Cozumel and Costa Maya. While I wanted to go ports that have been affected, I still feel blessed that I am able to cruise, have running water, electricity, etc. Some cruisers need to get a grip. I think RCCL did not drag their feet. They have to first find out what ports are available and if certain ships can go into the ports like the Allure. Happy sailing everyone

I book a cruise to go on a cruise. So to me it´s about ship, itinerary, Timing, Overall product and pricing.
I do not book a cruise because of some loyalty Programm.
I am a C&A members and I´m happy about the perks they give me, but it´s not the reason for booking with them. Only if every other aspect would be the same, the loyalty scheme would sway me, but then there´s no two ships the same and with that no two Cruises will ever be the same.
I agree with you. I cruise because I love it. I am a Diamond member and we usually have a suite which brings some perks. However, the perk I enjoy the most is getting off the ship quicker. Otherwise, I don't cruise for the loyalty rogram.

My favorite beaches are actually where I Live. The Grand Strand in Myrtle Beach area has 60 miles of beaches. Been a lot of places and these are still my favorite.

Just back from OASIS. My two sister-in-laws laughed at me when I said I was bringing my steamer. However, they both used it several times lol. Only takes a couple of minutes. I have a Conair handheld steamer that I got from HSN a few years ago and it works great. Some of us are obsessed with wrinkles - different strokes for different folks. By the way I loved the OASIS. My cabin was 9642, Junior Suite with great location.

Having stayed in both. Personally I think the GS is plenty big enough. The last cruise on the liberty we were in a Owners Suite. We also cruised on the Liberty in a GS. I really prefer the GS. Maybe if child were older I would opt for OS. But don't think OS it is worth the money.

Joining my siblings on the OASIS in 12 days - FINALLY!!!!!!!

Priority boarding is not what is is cracked up to be. Last cruise, my two brothers were on before I was. And, the last few cruises I have been on, every one is on within 15-20 minutes. If people have completed there paperwork correctly and on line, should take a few moments to board.

The past few cruises we have been booked in Grand Suites but I thought a GS on OASIS was too overpriced.
We opted for a Junior Suite (9642) October 10, 2010.
But, we are going to watch the reviews of the Oasis once it is sailing full or near full. Had some friends that were on it last week for two days and think the specialty restaurants and other venues are going to be full all the time. If you don't prebook could be a problem.
Anyway, we are (at this time) looking forward to enjoying our JS in October.

Loved the Serenade but missed the Promenade. Would sail Serenade again though.

Has anyone rented a cabana aboard ship. Do you rent it for the whole day and what are your comments about cabanas on the ship
