  1. It is a 45+ minute drive from MCO to PC/Cocoa Beach. For 6 plus bags you'll need UberXL (mini-van/SUV) and even then it will be a squeeze (especially if anyone in your group packs like my wife!). This link will give you the approximate fare: http://uberestimate.com/ of about $120+

I would look at renting a mini-van or two standard cars (sometimes cheaper ;)) and booking your own hotel. Drop the rental vehicle off in the morning and ride their shuttle to the port.

Thank you so very much!!! Very helpful info!!!!!

  2. If you want a GREAT zip line experience I recommend zip lining in Roatan. There is a place called extremely extreme zip lining. My family absolutely loved it!!!!!!! [/s

I asked about admission prices (reserving online vs. buying tickets at the gate) on their FB page and got this reply from them:

    T

"The price is the same! The admission rate is 89 usd and 79 usd minors and includes unlimited access to all attractions. We have an elevator so you can ride your favorite attractions over and over."

We will probably bite the bullet and still go even though the price is nearing or even higher than Orlando water parks only because we want to try zip lining and we wouldn't have to shell out $$ for a separate excursion

  3. Well Welcome to CRUISING!!!!!!!!! My favorite subject :) You would definitely love the Magic and that would be my pick. The Dream we have sailed twice and it is such a dark ship the décor is not pretty at all. The Vista, well, yes it's the Vista!!!!!! But if you are doing all that driving and it is one day shorter cruise that would do it for me. I think, IMO, that the Magic would be a great fit.

Enjoy your cruise!!!!! And welcome to the addiction!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. How do you get from Ft Lauderdale to Miami. We will be on Glory April 27 and are flying in the day before to Ft Lauderdale. We have always flown into Miami but this was cheaper.

We either rent from Hertz or Budget as they have drop off sites in downtown Miami close to the pier and then take a shuttle or a taxi to ship. Or we use ridesasdotcom. They are very good, prompt, and reliable.
