  1. We did many cruises when the kids were younger and I would also say no. Disney was incredible but our #2 was just turned 2 on our 1st sailing and he wasn't allowed in the kiddie program. Only babysitting so he missed out on the incredible pirate ship and amazing kids club. From then on we went on NCL as we added kids because they do take them at 2. Kids want to be in those programs, shopping on an island or whatever excursion isn't as fun as what is scheduled for them.

I am concerned our turning 22 year old is going to be bored on Regent this fall but he is excited. Maybe he can hang with the entertainment staff!

  2. We have done 5 space a trips (17 flights total) in the 18 months we have been overseas and NO WAY to space a'ing to get a cruise. Stuff just happens and you need 4 seats at the very bottom of the categories.

Our recent flight to Hawaii an active duty family of 5 were going to Japan. They made it 7 days after they left their home: drove to travis & missed the flight they wanted, flew to hawaii-2 nights there as the c5 was broken (always) okinawa-2 nights same, korea overnight then finally Japan. Their reservation at new sanno was finished by then. They were cat 3!

On our way back we flew to guam to take 2 flights that were coming to korea. Both disappeared by the time we landed and we had to wait a week until we could even get to Japan. Changed hotels 3x, rental car- doubled the cost of my trip. It was still beautiful but NO WAY would I chance it knowing we have a cruise booked. I have met more retires stuck in space a but they have all the time in the world.

  3. Hi Dean. Just got off the Radiance on Sunday. I had the Royal Replenish package at the $19 USD a day. We purchased it before we left though and paid in AUD, which was nice. I enjoyed it as I just bought a few alcoholic drinks along the way.

Here is a link to the drink package comparisons: http://media.royalcaribbean.com/content/shared_assets/pdf/menus/beverage_packages.pdf

Sadly, the price has gone up already on all packages.

So zero coke/diet coke unless you buy the package or pay for them. Years ago, they were included in the dining room.

Thanks for a great review. We leave on the same tier ship/ports in a couple weeks.
