We were looking at the Ovation for the Nov 18th 2016 sailing and when I called to put the deposit down was told it was Red Coded. On the RCCL website it was showing up as Sold Out. RCCL said it typically means that they are doing inventory on the cabins and to keep an eye on the sailing date. Should open back up in a few days or week at the most. It has been 2 weeks and now it does not even show up on the website. Has anyone experienced this for a sailing you were interested in? We like to sail over Thanksgiving and were looking forward to a new ship that was somewhere other than the Caribbean. Feeling kinda bummed that we missed it.....

Does anyone know if the airport has a store that sells Wine? Staying at the airport hotel the night before the cruise and would like to grab 2 bottles to carry on the ship.

We will be staying in Queenstown for 3 nights after our cruise. I am considering the St Moritz, Queenstown Park Boutique or possibly Sofitel. We will have a car and need parking. Wanting to stay at a nice hotel for the final few days of our vacation before we have the long flight home. Any thoughts or other suggestions?

Thanks for your comments. We were concerned about how early our flight was and the car return. We will probably renturn the night before and just look for a hotel that has a shuttle.

Any reccomendations for a Rental Car company would be appreciated. Would like to rent a car at the airport in Cairns. We will be landng in Cairns and need to get to Port Douglas. Plan to stay 2 nights,snorkel GBR and then the Rainforest/KRS then head to Cairns for 1 night since we have an early (6:40am) flight to Sydney on the 27th. We like the idea of driving to Port Douglas based on the comments of how scenic the route is and the flexibility of having a car. Thanks!

We are booked on the Celebrity Solstice 11/27/14 sailing (although it does not sail until the 28th) out of Sydney. We will be flying into Cairns arriving on the 24th with a flight to Sydney on the 27th. We are new to this part of the world. We would like to snorkel the GBR and see the rainforest. Is this something we can do from Cairns or should we stay in Port Douglas for the 3 nights? I understand Port Douglas is about an hour from Cairns and we would be willing to rent a car if that would make any difference. We are just looking for some experienced Australia travelers insight.
