IMO I think the judge took the easy and only way out. If the judge ruled for the state the CDC (the Cruise Denying Clowns) would have appealed and would jumped into the rabbit hole. From what I've seen from the cruise industry, is that their recommendations meet or excides the CDC's. Mediation is not going to work. One side is doing all the work and talking, the other has all the power. And the storm toppers aren't going budge an inch. At the cost lost revenue for industry, in the billion. The lost revenue for the states, in the billions. And not to mention the thousands of lost jobs, people lives that that the clown show destroyed. Despicable. 

I'd love to jump on a boat this second. I'd love to walk among two thousand strangers. I want to wander on the Lido deck and people watch, smell suntan lotion. Get a whiff of Guys burgers and hear the roar of the blenders as they make those drinks. But I'm going to wait until next spring when all of the over the top nonsense that the CDC will impose on the cruise industry and only the cruise industry. I'm happy most, if not all cruise lines are vaccinating the crews. I'd prefer it be mandatory for passenger also.(jmo) So for me no masks no distancing. Hopefully by next spring Big Brother, I mean the CDC will relax and realize It's over the top treatment of the cruise industry and all the people that make it work was a mistake. Thousands of people lost jobs. The industry and the states they sail out of lost Billions.  

Last night 50000 people went to the NFL draft. According to the the host of the show to get in you had to vaccinated. ( no mention of negative test) Point being if a company states you have to prove you've been tested this virus and it's negative or have been vaccinated to enter their facility, then so be it. You have a choice. I choose to cruise. 

I did find the statement Carnival sent about Cancellation and OBC and uploaded it. sorry it may be difficult to read. About OBC it basically states if you continue to sail with them they automatically apply OBC to your sign and sail.

Was on the Legend once cabin 8223. Two decks above your cabin and on the other side of the ship. Your cabin is next to the elevators. I didn't notice any difference in the amount of noise, if that's what your concerned about. Good thing your next to the elevator, less walking. enjoy your cruise.

Don't understand the up front payment. It's new to me. What if you book and change you mind?

Here's my question, on the Pride where is Muster station "C" located. I can't figure out the carnival web site out. It is very informative with some things, lacking in others. For example, Where our the muster stations located, currant menus, currant bar prices and other things. Granted I may be looking in the wrong places. Thanks..

IMO common sense. If you have anything booked in that part of the world I'd consider canceling. What do they say, "In abundance of caution".   

In Cozumel, Nachi-Cocom. Short cab ride to a beautiful beach. You can hang on the beach with chairs under Tiki style umbrellas Waiters serve cocktails that never empty. Huge pool and a hot tub next to the pool. Which is next to the bar where your bar tender pours lovely shots all day. And you're served lunch which is really good. $59 per person 16yr+ $45 for kids. It really depends on what and how much you drink. Higher end booze cost more and of course lower end cheaper. For example, you have the drink of the day, few beers buy the pool, an afternoon cocktail, before dinner cocktail, wine at dinner,after dinner drinks and the night cap. It could be $50 to $70, more or less. If your a big drinker or buying rounds for people  it'll be a lot more. Been on 13 cruises and my first 9 (before the packages) my bar taps ranged between $700 and $900. To answer you query, I have spent more than what a package would cost me. 

I been in Cabo San Lucas a bunch of times and seen cruise ship sail in into. It's kind of cool to see. They don't dock, it's a tender port. The ship just anchors and depending on the tide just drifts around where it's anchored. What I've noticed with two days in Cabo it's not an overnight stay. The ship sails at 6:00 pm and returns at 7:00 am. The ships casino can't open while. That may have changed, but I doubt it.  

All of the cruises I went on it was always ship time no matter what time zone the ship happen to be in. Just check with what ever excursion you book with. And bring a watch and set for ship time.

I also check how many ships well be in the home port. Docked in Miami once the port was packed, getting a taxi was a pain and the airport was packed. 

My experience is I wait for the last night of the cruise. They may reduce the price. My best score was purchase was Stoli vodka. During the cruise the price for a liter of Stoli was $22 which good a good price. The last night of the cruise, two for one. $22 for two liters of Stoli. Doesn't happen every cruise but sometimes you may luck out. 

Always give it 4 weeks.

First off a comment on the list that audcc77 posted. Anyone of those items would be a nice gift. Been on 5 cruises at Platinum status I received a Platinum pin, a Carnival night light, a Carnival luggage tag, a  Carnival fold-able duffel bag (best one ever) and a pair of Carnival head phone. For those who remember head phones are thing we used to listen to music back in the 70's.  We have to remember Carnival is in the business making money not giving it away. Everyone loves free stuff especially free drinks. I think priority boarding, tendering, better seating at the shows, debarking and free laundry service is plenty. That's just me. Have fun on you future cruises.

Also depends on when your ship docks.8:00 docking figure 9:30-ish 10:00 docking maybe 11:30-ish.   As others have stated they want you of the ship asap. For the majority of passengers I believe they call by deck.  I'ts orderly but fast. 

There is a chapel on Half Moon Cay. I don't if there is any members of clergy there. I assume in can visit information center to see if you can make arrangements.
