We actually had rain in the afternoon but otherwise hot and sunny in Venice. It's easy DIY. We got the waterbus just a short walk from the ship which drops off close to st marks. Very busy on return journey so leave plenty of time.

Is that not essentially the same problem as lack of sunbeds ?

Not really cos you could always squeeze a bed in somewhere. Rather that than lots of space and no beds.

It was a cracker of a storm in Dubrovnik. There was also one late afternoon in Athens the following week.

Ship definitely full last week!

Just returned from 2 weeks on the Majesty. Ship was full, yet there were plenty of sunbeds - even on days at sea! In fact it was deck space that was at a premium to fit your sunbed on. A refreshing change.

The cable car runs from montjuic hill where the Olympic stadium is to an area beyond the port near the beach. There were long queues waiting to get on at the bottom station, but we have taken it twice from montjuic with hardly a queue. It's a bit of a trek back. Although there is a tower in the port the cable car doesn't stop there.

You could head in the other direction to port grimaud then people watch in st tropez? Or Nice is lovely to walk around.

Thanks everyone. Have just returned from TA and have got 111 on deck 7 with unobstructed view so sounds good to us.

I know this is an old thread but do you still get robes in the deluxe cabins?

We've booked for July 2015. Deluxe outside cabin. So would you go for deck 6 unobstructed view with promenade deck outside or deck 8 obstructed view but no deck outside?

Is Henry still on from the main dining room?

I used the boots once range and found it very good. I got a good tan even tho I used high factor all the time.

I tried several sites and when I listed Montenegro they all said I wouldn't be covered. I tried European and worldwide cover.

Same here! I just assumed.....

Just wondered if anyone else has had problems getting cover for here as part of a cruise? Even when I select worldwide it says I'm not covered?
