  1. I know this is a weird question, but is there a top sheet on the beds on the Regal Princess? I always find the duvet too hot for me when I go to a hotel and from what I’ve seen on Youtube, there seems to be a duvet on the beds of the Regal. I’m trying to decide if I’ll bring a top sheet with me for my cruise in March (interior cabin).

We were on the Grand this last September. A few days before disembarking, you will receive an explanation of the choices for which you will sign up for. We chose independent walk off, first group and handled our own luggage. We had a meeting area (Crown Grill) and they told us when we could proceed. We were the first off.

Thank you for this information, that’s exactly what I was looking for!

Unless your in the absolutely first walk off group you can just proceed to the disembarkation deck & get right off as you arrive. The rush to depart will be gone & the build up at customs is now a thing of the past with the facial recognition  system.

Do you know how the groups are assigned? Could I ask to be in the first group?

  4. I’m new to Princess and I’m confused about the self assist walk-off process. With other cruiselines we used before, all we needed to do was keep our luggage in our cabin and, on disembarkation morning, take the elevator to the main deck to wait in line with the other walk-off guests until they let us off the ship.

In another thread, someone posted a DISEMBARKATION INFORMATION CHART from a recent Regal Princess cruise that shows a meeting lounge and meeting times for walk-off guests (see photo attached). How does walk-off work on Princess Cruises? Will we need to go to a waiting lounge?

  5. It wil be our first time sailing with Princess Cruises (Regal March 19th). We need to disembark as soon as possible in Fort Lauderdale (walk-off) to catch a 11AM flight to Canada. What is our best option for a very quick breakfast on disembarkation day? Room Service ordered in advanced? The Buffet? Just grabbing some pastries at the International Cafe or Buffet to eat while waiting in line to disembark?

We would like to be at FLL for 8:30 so if skipping breakfast altogether is necessary, we will! Any suggestion is welcome.

  6. A Canadian Travel Agent (TA) is offering the exact same price as Royal Caribbean for the same cruise (same cabin).

I would like to know what are the advantages (if any) of booking directly with Royal Caribbean instead of booking through a TA.

I read on this board that some people receive upgrade offers from Royal Caribean and I was wondering if that was also the case when you book with a TA (I usually book with a TA and I never received an upgrade offer!).

    Thanks!

  7. I did my online check-in for my upcoming cruise on Adventure of the Seas and I can now print a 19-page "GUEST TICKET BOOKLET". Is this the only Royal Caribbean document I'll need to board? I read messages about a "SetSail Pass". Is it the same thing as the Guest Ticket Booklet?
