There are quilting cruises where quilters will bring along ‘featherweight’ machines to sew a quilt top.  When they travel with the machine it is a carryon and stored in the overhead bin.  The airlines usually request that the sewing needle is removed from the machine.  Enjoy your quilting if you decide to take a machine with you.

  2. Depending on where you live in Canada, if you are close to the US border, check out flying from the closest US airport into FLL. We have done this many times flying out of North Dakota, and saving a substantial amount even with the exchange and parking fees.

  3. We are on the Equinox on the Oct 6th cruise- not sure when you are going. I did a mock booking for the sunset catamaran offered by Celebrity and it leaves at 5 pm- if you are doing the trike tour it arrives back at 5:30- we are booked on the Trikes- I am thinking you might have to choose between the Trikes or sunset catamaran. If you are on the 6th cruise, have you joined the roll call yet? There is a lot of great info on the roll call- be sure to check it out if you haven't already.
