  1. We are sailing Oct 31 on Regal and wondered if the Beatlemaniacs are still playing in atrium.  Also, how is the piano bar entertainment.  First time we went a few years ago it was jam packed every night.  Last time we sailed last Oct, very boring.

So true.  NCL is not giving away free airfare.  They just build the cost into the cruise fare and make it look as if it's free.  I really dislike this promotion as we prefer to book our own air and choose the airline, connection points and times, etc.  We usually drive to NYC, so I don't even need airfare on those cruises.  If they are going to continue with this promotion I really wish they would offer at least some OBC or something if you decline the "free" airfare.

People are being fooled by all these FREE offers which are really higher fares or service fees attached to cruise bill - poor unknowing passengers.  Time to wake up and not pay for someone's Free air!

That depends on the stateroom, some offer all perks as included in the fare, some allow you to pick the perks you take.  In my case (a Studio) I only got to pick one perk.  Flights from my airport with this perk (for a Pacific Coastal cruise, 2 one-way fares) were insanely high, I did better having my TA book them independently and picking a different perk.  For those with all perks, I guess they'd just somehow tell NCL not to book the airfare.

Prices are much higher for 2020 out of NYC on Bliss and Gem because of this FREE air being paid for by all of us!

  4. There is a substantial increase in the price of cruise on Gem Feb 14  2020  out of NYC since this past Jan/Feb season 2919.  I believe that cruises which include free or reduced airfare are priced higher to cover this perk.  THERE IS NO FREE LUNCH!

  5. Just off Escape Jan 20-Feb 03 Southern Caribbean with a group.  We lost the first day with the wait in terminal, really late luggage arrival (like 1 am) and minimal cabin steward service due to last outbreak of norvo virus.   All crew were busy cleaning, sanitizing ship and not paying the right attention to guests!  Constant spraying of stinky chemicals for one week made people with allergies and asthma stay in cabins.  The crew work heavy duty masks, but not even a written apology from captain for the big inconvenience this scouring caused!   We all realize it is for our own health benefit, but we really put up with a lot of grief and over worked crew members who were not nice to us! I have always sailed NCL, but now because of unprofessional crew on board this ship, I am rethinking my loyalty.
