As antsp already mentioned, the Smokehouse BBQ at the Trident Grill is only at night. It begins at 6PM. There are two alternating menus:

on our recent Ruby sailing they, did evenings only. For some reason the trident grill closed at 10 and not 11 like on other ships

Yes, I have my son and his family coming on our next cruise, because I did not say anything before I lost the money and so did my son. I knew better the next time when booking my cousins.

Yep, you can just call Princess and request "no upgrade" or "meta upgrade only".

We will be doing a Mexico cruise out of LA. This will be our first cruise out of LA and Princess is far to expensive with their Hotel Package. Can anyone suggest a Hotel and also a Transportation Service we could use to take us to the Hotel and then to the pier the next day. There will be 6 of us. Thank you all in advance.:)

We have used Princess Air and have never had a problem. We have used it 3 times and it was cheaper than what the airline had to offer. All three times were with one stop. We live in Manitoba, Canada.

Thank you all with this information on this thread. I will do the preordering on our next cruise, which we are paying in CDN. It is the same as in US.

All I have to say is "Ditto". I think that was very harsh and not called for. Some people have nothing better to do then insult people. I am going on the same ship also in Feb/13 and found great information. Thank you very much for your review.:)

How do you get to both of these bars Jack's and Local? Do you have to go out side the cruise center to get there?
